「讀每一個考科都要先愛上它！」畢業於長榮大學傳播學系的康君薇，多益測驗約七百分，非外文系背景、也非頂大生的她，因嚮往成為移民官，每天一邊吃早餐一邊看CNN，並讀英文報紙、網站，背單字、練翻譯與寫作，後期更清晨五點半起床念英文，兩年間猛爆式進步，順利考取。
兩年來，康君薇邊吃早餐邊看CNN報導，認識國際時事、新聞英文單字，每天讀專業科目前的必備步驟，是先花一到一點五小時閱讀英文報紙，考前四個月則每天練習中英翻譯、一周一篇作文，連休息時間都不忘逛「Eric's English Lounge」臉書粉專等。
