懷念國中每天中午不睡覺，坐在石修士開著的回收車，跟著他在垃圾堆裡撿瓶罐回收，準備捐錢給盧安達的民眾。那段日子在我這輩子影響非常非常的深。

My Uncle Gordon lived in Taichung, Taiwan more than 44 years ago! He went there as a young man to teach English at St. Viator High School. Taiwan was very different then, and this is a follow up interview to one we did back in May. I was curious about his day to day life living in Taiwan as a foreign teacher during the 1970's. He also speaks about his experiences learning Chinese, which has been a lifelong passion of his.

My Uncle Gordon lived in Taichung, Taiwan 44 years ago teaching English. Taiwan was very different back then, and I sit down with him as he tells his story about what life was like as a foreign teacher back in Taiwan 1976. He also gspeaks about his journey learning Chinese as a young boy, and all the way through to the present day.
