Meeting of Board of Governors of IIUM

The 59th meeting of the Board of Governors of IIUM was held this morning at 10 am. I had the pleasure of welcoming YBhg Tan Sri Wan Zulkiflee and H.E. High Commission of People Republic of Bangladesh as the newly elected members to the board.

Tan Sri Wan was the former President of Petronas a few years ago. He has transformed Petronas in many dimensions and on all fronts. We at IIUM are deeply grateful for him in joining our board. He is an outstanding personality in the oil and gas sector. We are proud of him and IIUM is lucky to have him on the board.

Only a small group of the board members joining the meeting in person from the Senate Hall. The majority have joined via digital.

May Allah guide the members of BOG to contribute significantly for the betterment of IIUM on all fronts. IIUM aspires to be the best amongst the best in certain niche area.

How could we do that? We believe we could do. This is good enough.

In addition to banning games completely, several games have had their content screened to remove certain imagery deemed offensive or unfavorable. Common examples include skeletons or skulls being either fleshed out or removed entirely. Cases of which can be seen in Chinese versions of popular video games such as DOTA 2 and World of Warcraft.
