Woohoo! I got a haircut for $12. Hee. And gonna trim this girl's hair today because she likes Mama to cut it for her. Totally opposite of the big sister who refuses to cut any of her tresses at all.
This girl seems to have matured a fair bit in the past few weeks and has been helping me out at home, looking after the little brother, showing more responsibility in her school work and being able to listen and obey more.
It's unlike the first few months where she would throw tantrums over trivial matters, raise her voice easily or even resort to violence to solve conflicts. Perhaps, it's just a part of growing up and there will always be the good and bad days, easy and tough phases, ups and downs of trying to raise, discipline and teach a child.
I think my kids take turns to have their so called tough periods, baffle me, break my heart and make me feel like I have so much more to learn in this motherhood journey. It seems like a never ending cycle at times, just when I get through the worst with a child, another one starts to act up and the whole process begins again.
Well, I guess nobody said it would be easy and besides, what fun, challenge and reward would there be if it was easy? So, let's just all jia you together, learn from the bad days and enjoy the good ones. It might not come true and won't be easy to fulfill, but I still tell myself every morning to make this day better than yesterday, to be a better person and mum today, to have more patience, show more ❤ and let the kids know just how much I cherish them.

As you can tell we spend most of our days with sand between our toes enjoying the sun kissing our cheeks. Mother Nature built us the perfect playground and we are grateful to live amongst it’s beauty. Although the whole sand following us into the car, then the house and our beds drive me nuts.
Why is sand so hard to wash out of tiny human heads? This will forever baffle me

There was a trans person or drag queen who made a video saying she didn't fast for Ramadhan. And being muslim, what this person posted offended many. And many of her own kind, trans and gay were quite quick to vilify her for "shaming the LGBT community" by not fasting. I see some posts rejoicing that this person has lost work as a result of her not fasting, and some posts, veyr rejoiceful that this person is being ridiculed and insulted by others on social media. Their reason, as if this is justification to bring them closer to their God, is that they have a right to defend the honor of their community asnd religion. How is not fasting shaming the LGBT community? Fasting is a ritual that is observed to fulfil your obligation to your God and religion, I thought it was sacred and personal, and not to be used as a tool to shame and punish their own brothers and sisters.
I see some of the comments coming from trans people, this one in particular who is not without sin herself, who goes off on trips with strange men and is known to have sex with copious men for money. Yet she is totally unabashed to speak ills about a fellow trans person whose only crime is that she doesn't want to observe fasting in Ramadhan.
I think before anyone wants to judge anybdy else, especially when it comes to religion, they should first remind themselves not to throw stones in their own glass houses.
The behavior I see amongst my own trans and LGBT brothers and sisters sometimes baffle and disgust me. You can't even be understanding to accept your own people, how do you expect to gain acceptance from others?
