🦪🍱𝙃𝙤𝙠𝙠𝙖𝙞𝙙𝙤 𝙄𝙠𝙪𝙧𝙖 & 𝘼𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙚 and 🍄🥩𝙄𝙬𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙆𝙪𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙚 𝙒𝙖𝙜𝙮𝙪 & 𝘽𝙖𝙛𝙪𝙣 𝙐𝙣𝙞 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙏𝙧𝙪𝙛𝙛𝙡𝙚 from Sho Kappo by Hajime for a little celebration at home several days ago.
First of all, the quality of the toppings were nice and fresh. However, the rice underneath was a bit too dense than how I normally like, while the flavor is quite on the mild and subtle side, if you like sushi with bold flavors, some soy sauce might be needed. (note that the delivery to us took almost 1.5 hrs, so maybe the quality was deteriorated with the transit time.)
Overall, an okay from us, not as impressive as we expected, and might be best if consumed immediately

ก่อนอื่นเลยคุณภาพของท๊อปปิ้งทั้งหลายนี่ถือว่าดีและสดใช้ได้เลย แต่ตัวข้าวด้านล่างคือแน่นมาก แน่นกว่าที่เราชอบไปเยอะอยู่ ส่วนตัวเลยขอหักคะแนนตรงนี้หน่อย ทางด้านรสชาติจะมาแบบอ่อนๆเบาๆ ใครชอบซูชิรสจัดหน่อยอาจต้องแตะโชยุเพิ่ม (เสียดายที่การจัดส่งจากทางร้านล่าช้า ใช้เวลารวมเกือบชม.ครึ่ง กว่าจะมาถึง คุณภาพเลยอาจจะโดนระยะเวลาทำร้ายอยู่พอสมควร)
อย่างไรก็ตาม โดยรวมแล้วก็โอเคแหละ อาจจะไม่ได้ประทับใจเรามากมายอย่างที่คาดหวังไว้ แต่ถ้าได้ทานทันทีหลังจากทำเสร็จคงดีกว่านี้มากอยู่

夏天到處都見到芒果的蹤影,金黃色澤、軟綿多汁的口感有誰不愛?且慢!有時看到青皮芒果是未熟透嗎?青芒果及黃芒果是兩個品種,青芒果外青內黃,果肉口感較爽脆,味道帶微酸,較適合做沙律、冷盤;而黃芒果果肉軟綿,味道較甜膩,多直接吃或做甜品及飲品。
不少人以為芒果「濕熱」,食材本身不會「濕熱」,「濕熱」是指人體致病的原因及體質;芒果性熱且肥甘黏膩,助濕生痰,故容易令體質偏熱人士增加「濕、熱」症狀,然而芒果有益胃、止嘔、止暈、解渴、利尿的作用,配合體質適量進食就可以享受芒果的滋味了。
芒果 — 性熱,具益胃、止嘔、止暈、解渴、利尿作用。多種原因造成的頭暈皆可食用芒果紓緩症狀;適合慢性氣管炎咳嗽、氣喘患者食用;皮膚敏感及過敏體質患者須謹慎食用。糖尿病患者不宜進食。

Green mango vs Yellow mango
It is not difficult to find shops selling mangoes during summer, and it is an absolute delight to indulge in the sweet and juicy fruit. We often think a green mango is an unripe mango, but that is not always the case.
Green mangoes and yellow mangoes are actually two different varieties. Green mangoes have green skin but yellow flesh. Its flesh is crunchier and more sour in taste, and they are suitable to be used in salad and cold dishes. Yellow mangoes, on the other hand, are softer and sweeter, and they are often used in desserts or consumed directly.
Many people believe mangoes are ‘damp and hot’ in nature, but the term ‘damp heat’ is in fact used to describe the body constitution and the cause of illness. Since mangoes are warm in nature and are sweet and sticky, they can easily cause dampness to accumulate in the body and cause phlegm. Hence, individuals with a heat related body may experience damp heat symptoms.
Nonetheless, mangoes are good for the stomach, can relieve nausea and dizziness, quench thirst, and induce urination. We should be able to enjoy mangoes by consuming an appropriate amount of the fruit based on our body constitution.
Mango - Hot in nature. It can nourish stomach, relieve vomiting and dizziness, relieve thirst and promote diuresis. Dizziness caused by various reasons could be relieved by eating mango. It is suitable for those with chronic bronchitis cough or asthma. Those with skin allergy and sensitive body type should eat less. It is not suitable for diabetic patients.

For this episode, we headed back to Neo’s Kitchen to attempt a LEVEL 99 SPICY MALA WONTON CHALLENGE! EB Food is organising a timed wonton challenge with the launch of their new product, EB Shrimp Wonton with Mala Sauce. Eating the greatest number of EB wontons in 5 minutes will net you a cash prize of $2000, with further cash prizes for 2nd and 3rd place. Full details listed below:
The EB Shrimp Wonton with Mala Sauce came neatly packed in a pleasantly-enough designed box that really undersold the potency of the Mala sauce. They were simple to cook - boil the 12 wontons for 5 minutes, warm up the Mala sauce in hot water and mix them all together. The Mala sauce was a menacing shade of red glistening with Mala oil radiating that signature Mala aroma. The wontons themselves respectably plumped up considerably during cooking. Each had a whole shrimp in them. When mixed together, each wonton ended up adopting an even shade of red with small clumps of Mala sauce noticeable throughout.
I attempted this challenge with Mervin (there is a buddy requirement). From the number of wontons we prepared versus the number consumed, it was clear that we underestimated this challenge. We thought it would be a speed challenge, but it ended up being a spice challenge due to our low spice tolerance and the unexpected heat of the Mala sauce. Out of the 100+ wontons we cooked, we only ate 48 between us within the 5 minutes limit.
Note that our attempt does not count for the official challenge, so please do find a buddy (preferably someone who loves Mala) and win yourself $2000! The wontons are also Halal, so Muslim viewers can join as well!

綠茶年糕
材料:
糯米粉250克
沾米粉100克
澄麪粉1湯匙
綠茶粉1大湯匙
冰糖100克
處理:
1. 冰糖,清水洗乾淨,用年糕盤8成容量的水煮冰糖。
2. 年糕盤內的水,加入冰糖,大火煲滾,冰糖煮溶後,熄火攤凍。
3. 糯米粉、沾米粉及澄麪粉,放入玻璃碗內。
4. 冰糖水已攤凍,加入玻璃碗內,攪勻粉漿。
5. 加入綠茶粉1大湯匙,攪勻。
6. 在糕盤內掃油。
7. 用隔篩隔好粉漿在糕盤內。
8. 戥出年糕內的氣泡。
9. 蓋上錫紙。
烹調:
1. 大火煲滾1鑊水。
2. 大火蒸綠茶年糕1小時。
3. 在另一邊煲好滾水,以便每20分鐘,就要加滾水繼續蒸。
4. 蒸了1小時,蒸好,攤凍。
5. 放雪櫃冷藏36~48小時,便可煎香食用。
Matcha rice cake
Ingredients:
Glutinous rice flour 250g
Rice flour 100g
Wheat starch 1 tbsp
Matcha tea powder 1 big tbsp
Rock sugar 100g
Preparation:
1. Rock sugar, get it rinsed. Fill up 80% volume of the glass bowl to prepare the rock sugar syrup.
2. Water in the glass bowl, put rock sugar. Heat up at high flame. Wait for cooling down after rock sugar has been melted.
3. Put glutious rice flour, rice flour and wheat starch into the glass bowl.
4. The syrup has been cooked down, pour into the glass bowl. Mix well.
5. Put matcha powder 1 big tbsp. Mix well.
6. Brush little oil in the glass bowl.
7. Filter the mixture into the glass bowl.
8. Get out the air in the rice cake by hitting the glass bowl onto the working table carefully. This is to help releasing the air bubbles in the rice cake.
9. Cover up the rice cake with aluminum foil.
Steps:
1. Heat up a wok of water at high flame.
2. Steam the rice cake at high flame for an hour.
3. Boil up a wok of water on the other side at the same time, since boiled~up water will be added to the wok for every 20 minutes during the steaming process.
4. Rice cake has been steamed for an hour. Complete. Wait for cooling down.
5. Store in refrigerator for 36~48 hours, matcha rice cake can be consumed after frying well.
