-The master of Soul-
Japanese physiologies always teach us how to live our life better. Love more, be kind, be humble to heart, spirit, mind and soul. One of the words I have come across while doing research on this project and has gotten me the most is called Ikigai-a reason for waking up every morning, the reason of being, the thing that you live for! Each individual's ikigai is personal to all of us and specific to our lives, values and beliefs. By learning this, I asked myself what is soul then? -reason, character, feeling, consciousness, memory, perception, thinking, etc? Looking back at the Japanese way of living, it’s all very meditative for me, from Rock garden, Zen Buddhism or even gift wrapping.
In this video- Powders texture from the new Shiseido plays its form of being so light, floaty, still and airy. The look that I created is inspired by all of these. Visible feels invisible!
I hope you enjoy all the videos!! I had an amazing time creating these since I have taken almost a year out. Hopefully I get to express myself more and most importantly ‘better’ life is how you value yourself and your time. Do not waste it! See you again on my next video

From the great wave Katsushika Hokusai ? to kabuki to Tea making, origami, calligraphy, anime, video games, architecture, contemporary art to martial arts and so many more! Japan is so rich in so many art forms. And yet they still continue to make more and more, from tradition to modern. Art is everywhere around us, a lot of museums and exhibitions to visit. Meaningful, humble, educational, inspirational and full of philosophies- stories of living better life.
For this video- INKS- the new shiseido makeup comes out with lots of new liners for us to play around with, ranging from white, red, blue to dark brown and black. I’m using purple and brown to create a soft Smokey eye look for almost everyday purposes. You can wear this look for many occasions. Art is simple but yet sophisticated :)

Science, innovations and technology in Japan are just amazing! From Shibuya crossing, game arcades, robot cafes to night clubs and etc!! The city never sleeps, nevertheless product innovations are cleverly done as well. And in terms of the New Shiseido makeup, Gels- I’m using Ginza Red colour, which is very easily glide, strong pigment but yet long lasting. Red colour reminds me of Japan, the rising sun :) and to top up with that orange lids are always my colour. If you would to achieve glossy, jelly texture on models, remember to always apply gloss only before shooting :))
