Buddha's birthday is a Buddhist festival that is celebrated in most of East Asia commemorating the birth of the Prince Siddhartha Gautama, later the Gautama Buddha, and was founder of the Buddhism. According to Buddhist tradition and modern academic consensus, Gautama Buddha was born c. 563–480 BCE in Lumbini (currently located in Nepal), and raised in the Shakya capital of Kapilavastu.

The official date for Buddha’s birthday (usually called Vesak) varies as it is based on the Buddhist lunar calendar. It’s celebrated on the full moon, which tends to fall either at the end of April or in the beginning of May.

The date varies by region:
April 8 or May 8 (Japan)
Second Sunday in May (Taiwan)
8th day of 4th lunar month (mainland China and East Asia)
first full moon of Vaisakha (South Asia and Southeast Asia)

二零一九年，陽曆六月二十號明日，也即是農曆五月十八日，乃吾之根本傳承上師，當代法王，聖尊蓮生活佛的佛辰。

無論皈依與否，皆可在正日，沐浴浄口，著新淨衣服，端坐客廳或壇城，恭敬合掌，虔誠跟着吾持誦，南無大白蓮花童子心咒，二十一、四十九、一百零八，或越多遍越好，亡者及現存者，無不獲佛光加被，得大利益。

這咒有很大的功德，唸滿800萬遍，就能往生摩訶雙蓮池，西方極樂淨土。

這咒還有另外一個大功德：它裡頭涵蓋了破六道輪迴的金剛咒，能夠超生脫苦，修行必定能得到圓滿。

吾還未皈依，就已在持這個咒，一直到今天2019年，20年後，吾仍然天天都在持這個咒。它有很不可思議的如來功德加持力，入世出世皆得圓滿。
吾特別錄製這咒音108遍，感恩師佛的救渡、傳法和加持之恩，永遠頂戴感恩。

「長咒」：༄༅༎ཨོཾ་ཨཱ༔་ཧཱུྃ་གུ་རུ་པྷྱཿ་འ༔་ཨ༔་ཤ༔་ས༔་མ༔་ཧ༔་ པདྨ་སམ་སིདྡྷི་ཧཱུྃ།།
嗡阿吽。古魯貝。阿訶薩沙媽哈。蓮生悉地。吽。

In the Lunar calendar, the 18th day of the 5th month, which falls on tomorrow, 20 June 2019, is the holy birthday of my Root Guru, the Dharma King of our era, His Holiness Living Buddha Lian Sheng.

Whether you have taken refuge or not, on this actual day, you can first take a bath, brush your teeth, put on clean clothing and sit respectfully with your palms together in the living room or in front of your altar, to recite the heart mantra of the Padmakumara. The mantra recitation can be done 21, 49, 108 or as many times as possible. Both the living and the deceased will receive blessings from the Buddha's light and benefit tremendously.

The immeasurable merits from chanting this mantra 8 million times, wil also assure you a rebirth to the Maha Double Lotus Pond in the Western Pure Land.

Another powerful merit of this mantra is the ability to break one's affinity with the Six Realms of Rebirth, and achieve bliss and full attainment in one's spiritual practice.

I started chanting this mantra even before I took refuge in Him, till today in 2019. It has been 20 years and I still chant it daily. This mantra has unimaginable merits and empowerment from the Buddhas, and allow one to attain fulfilment in both the worldly and spiritual aspirations. I recorded 108 recitations of this mantra, to express my eternal gratitude for my beloved Grandmaster's salvation, Dharma propagation and empowerment.
