Even though I am a little late to this party I would like to take the #Cosplayersaskids challenge that some of my favourite cosplayers took.
I recall that I was already a “cosplayer” when I was a little girl, hahaha! While watching cartoons I dreamed of becoming like them: from Sailor Moon to Catwoman and more.
During each Carnival I chose the character I dressed as not because it was readily available or because it was popular. I chose each specific character because I wanted to interpret it.
One of my favourites was Sailor Moon.
Why?
Because she reminded me of myself: silly, lazy and a crybaby; but when she transforms she becomes super strong. I wanted to become like her, so I asked my grandma to sew this costume.
When I “transform” it’s like I am no longer me. I am extremely fond of this passion and I am very happy to have managed to become a cosplayer; even though it is still being perceived as a silly activity by most, especially in Japan.
The smile I got as a child when I dressed as my heroes is the same smile that I get when I wear my costumes today, together with determined eyes and a goal to reach!
This passion allowed me to meet a lot of beautiful people, to grow even though I always feel like an eternal child and to have a fun career. I can only say thanks!

Suicide Squad公開記念BATMAN 100% HOT TOYS JAPAN EXHIBITION 2016に行ってきました。
Suicide Squadの撮影で使用された衣装や小物や車、
過去の映画バットマンシリーズ、
アニメシリーズの他にも、ジャスティスリーグに関する展示品など豪華な展示会でした。
ジャスティスリーグの中でも、特に好きなキャットウーマンのコスプレで行きました。
歴代キャットウーマン、すべて好きなのですが、特にティム・ バートン監督作品『バットマン・リターンズ(1992)』に出てくるミッシェル・ファイファーのキャットウーマンの衣装が好きなので、バットマン・リターンズバージョンのキャットウーマンで行きました。
ちなみに、ドラマ ゴッサムシリーズでのキャットウーマンとバットマンの衣装がどんな衣装になるのかとても楽しみにしています。
なのですが、肖像権の関係なのか、今回の展示品の中にキャットウーマンはほとんどありませんでした。
1/1スケールのバットモービルの迫力は凄かったです。
最後、出口付近にて、バットマンのＶＲゲームを体験できるボックスがありました。
撮影禁止でしたので、映像にはないのですが、ゴッサムシティーに行ったような気分になれる大迫力のゲームでした。

I hope everyone had a great Halloween~ Doing the catwoman makeup tutorial was so much fun. I will also be uploading a video on the backup scenes of a community haunted house I helped out with! I helped all the actors and actresses with their makeup. I'll explain more in my next video so stay tuned ^^
I will try to edit that video as soon as possible but I've been so busy with school D:
