《香港花生》凌晨3時就其昨日由作者無名火指控港大學生會的文章發表回應，並對港大評議會刊登有關評議會事務委員會（下稱委員會）的會議議程提出疑點（《香港花生》所指應是「香港大學學生會評議會」，而非「港大評議會」）（註1）。

評議會檢視屬會聲明僅為記錄 不存在懲處屬會一說

校園電視就相關報導向學生會評議會（下稱評議會）主席黃浩揚查詢，黃回應指會議議程中「review」一字並沒有統一的中文定義。而該次會議的用意是為檢視屬會發出的聲明作為正式記錄，委員會成員並不會評論有關聲明的內容，因此「懲處幾個曾發表不符幹事會立場的聲明的屬會」一說並不成立。而評議會主席只是按照學生會附例（By-law）的要求召開會議檢視不同屬會所發出的聲明，並無特別原因。

是次會議的議程由評議會主席黃浩揚以電郵方式發放，會議議程由評議會主席一人決定，其他評議員包括學生會幹事並沒有干預會議議程安排。當日學生會會長孫曉嵐因事缺席會議，因此黃相信孫會長對該次會議所討論的內容並不清楚。

黃指出檢視聲明其中一個重要元素是界定屬會所發出的帖文是否「聲明」，若委員會未能定義有關貼文是否「聲明」而通過的話就會出現濫權的情況。當日委員會討論國事學會帖文時，由於該學會幹事表示相關帖文只是部分幹事的個人意見，並不代表國事學會的立場。因此在國事學會的幹事和委員會成員的同意下將有關的帖文界定為「評論」（commentary）非「聲明」（statement）而毋須通過。席間亦通過十院會所發出有關港大校委會主席李國章約頂尖學生參與飯局一事的聲明，以作記錄之用。

評議會主席：希望《香港花生》指控學生會前多了解本會會章

至於為何會議議程中是用「檢視」（review）一字而非「通過」（approve），黃指《香港花生》對學生會附例中有關評議會事務委員會的職權範圍毫不理解。相關附例的原文如下：

“XIV. TERMS OF REFERENCE OF COUNCIL BUSINESS COMMITTEE (CBC)
...
6. To review statements issued by Union sub-organizations to the general public or any external body; (Amended in CM9 2003) “

黃浩揚重申委員會的作用僅為了解和通過聲明，並不會對聲明的內容和立場作任何評論和採取任何行動。

法律學會外務副主席：從未接受自稱《香港花生》的人訪問

法律學會外務副主席梁子容昨夜於個人Facebook發表聲明（註2），指自己僅接受過一名自稱任職「Hong Kong Team」楊姓記者訪問，惟該記者從未向本會幹事介紹自己為「香港花生」的「無名火」。因此昨日《港大學生會圖統一意志, 屬會立場不容有異》（註3）一文中經多次編輯的版本中，當中所指「經本網再三了解，與作者聯絡的應是法學院學生會的外務副會長。」，與梁聲明有所出入。
