Wow! We are so excited that the schedule and circuits for the 2016 TCSA season has been announced, and in 2016, we will be adding two new tracks to the calendar, as well as some old favourites.
In September, shortly after a weekend racing on the same race-card as the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) at Twin Ring Motegi, we travel to the north of Japan to the iconic Sportsland Sugo circuit. This 3.73km track was constructed in 1975 and is owned by Yamaha. Each year it hosts events such as the All Japan Road Race Championship series for motorcycles through to the world-renowned Super GT Championship for cars.
After Japan, TCSA travels north again, this time to Japan’s close neighbour, South Korea and to the KIC (Korea International Circuit) - built in 2010, this track is famous for hosting F1 and its 5.6 kilometers will provide plenty of challenges for our cars and drivers!
We will also be returning to one of our favourite tracks, the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia, as well as two circuits we used for the first time last year – Twin Ring Motegi in Japan and Chang International Circuit, Buriram in northern Thailand.
The full season calendar is as follows:
