The Hill is a relatively new (less than 1 year old) bar and dining outlet situated in a converted bungalow built on a slope. On the evening that we reached, it was raining very heavily, causing the area to be rather quiet and parking to be vast. We managed to park by the road side just opposite the restaurant, with no one coming to ask for money. I had to make a special mention on this since there are many bad comments about the poor and rude jockey service who apparently forces you to pay for parking even if you park on the road side. That aside, the entrance to The Hill was a long flight of stairs that would first lead you to their alfresco drinking area, followed by another flight of stairs to their indoor lounge and finally, the last flight of stairs to their restaurant.
Dinner was a combination of hits and misses but my most memorable dishes would be the burger and chicken wings. The dimly lit environment could also prove to be rather romantic if there wasn’t any big party going on. Besides, the feeling of dining on top of a hill somehow adds a classy touch to the whole experience, although that meant climbing up several flights of stairs.
