Reminding myself to enjoy this pregnancy as much as I can and love everything about it, which includes the increasing stretch marks, popping out belly button, double chin and how this baby boy keeps me up every night with his kicks and punches.
Last night, I was lying in bed with the 5yo at bedtime when the baby was feeling extremely lively and active. So I placed the boy's hand over my tummy so he could feel his little brother. He gave a super cute and surprised look with an open mouth and went on to say "That's his head, I know that's his head!", "Didi high-five me!", "He kick so hard!", "Didi, you are so strong!" and the sweetest being "I love you so much, Didi." ❤ Awwww.
Yup, this boy who himself is the Didi of two elder sisters is gonna become a Korkor soon and somehow, it warms my heart so much knowing that he is gonna have a little brother to play with him soon. Can't wait to find out what kind of adventures they are gonna go on in future.
In other pregnancy updates, the baby is doing well and weighs 1.3kg as of now and we are coming close to 29 weeks. The good news is my gynae says I did well in keeping my glucose levels in check for the past four weeks so I only need to do my blood tests every alternate day now. Woohoo! As for myself, I gained 9kg already despite staying away from overly sweet stuff but the main thing is to be happy now and worry about how to slim down next time when the baby is out safely, hee. 顺其自然，随遇而安.
Happy Friday, people! It's time to celebrate the end of the first week of school, I am gonna bring the kids out for dinner followed by a movie night today, yup, time to give myself a break and unwind! Enjoy the weekend too!
