Saya dengan sukacita ingin mengumumkan bahawa Tunku Mahkota Ismail Youth Centre (TMIYC) yang seterusnya akan dibina di Kluang dan Iskandar Puteri. Cadangan untuk Gimnasium Rakyat juga telah diluluskan dan akan ditempatkan di TMIYC Iskandar Puteri.
TMIYC Johor Bahru sudahpun dirasmikan pada Disember 2020 manakala majlis pecah tanah untuk kawasan TMIYC Muar sudah dilaksanakan. TMIYC di Mersing dan Pasir Gudang akan dibina seterusnya.
Pembinaan TMIYC adalah idea dan visi saya untuk memperkasakan pembangunan golongan belia dengan pembinaan sebuah Youth Centre di setiap daerah di Johor. TMIYC akan dilengkapi dengan pelbagai kemudahan bagi manfaat golongan belia dan bakal menjadi titik tumpuan belia tempatan untuk perkembangan diri dan aktiviti berkumpulan.
Pada masa yang akan datang, belia boleh menikmati kemudahan seperti padang bola sepak sintetik, gelanggang sukan extreme, hab e-sports, dan gelanggang futsal serta asrama untuk penginapan pengunjung. Ini adalah hasrat dan azam saya untuk membawa pembangunan kepada seluruh negeri dan Bangsa Johor, terutamanya golongan belia.

I am pleased to announce that the next Tunku Mahkota Ismail Youth Center (TMIYC) will be built in Kluang and Iskandar Puteri. The proposal for the GYM Rakyat has also been approved and will be located at TMIYC Iskandar Puteri.
TMIYC Johor Bahru was officiated in December 2020 while the groundbreaking ceremony for TMIYC Muar has been held already. TMIYC in Mersing and Pasir Gudang will be built next.
The construction of TMIYC is my idea and vision to improve the youth development by constructing a Youth Center in every district in Johor. TMIYC is equipped with various facilities for the benefit of the youth and will be a focal point for local youths for personal development and group activities.
In the future, the youth can enjoy facilities such as synthetic football pitches, extreme sports courts, e-sports hubs, and futsal courts as well as hostels for visitors. This is my desire and wish to bring development to the entire state and Johoreans, especially the youth.

#DesignerHighlight: Our Interior Designer, Dominic Cheung @thearchigent , aspires to inspire and uplift the lifestyle and comfort of people through creating humanistic and sophisticated space. He believes only by juxtaposing the old and the new – from materials to furniture – can we craft a story with space and time.
Started as an interior designer after graduated from the School of Design in Hong Kong Polytechnic University, he has developed the skills and sensibility in designing and realizing well-articulated space that connects people – from understanding client briefs, presenting design proposal, producing tender & construction drawings to managing project execution on site.
To work on architectural projects of a larger scale, his recently awarded degree in architectural design from Welsh School of Architecture in Cardiff University allows him to expand his scope of work from crafting interior to building exterior. #jjacunabespokestudio

Do you need to travel to Italy to design your kitchen? No, not really, but its a helluva lot more fun...and it was the perfect cover for my proposal idea.
In all seriousness, I wanted to sit down with my kitchen supplier because this is my personal kitchen and I wanted to go over every detail, which you can see in the Kitchen Deep Dive video linked below. Mittel Cucine does such a great job and they are always innovating with new finishes, new accessories, etc so we wanted to get our eyes on all this stuff, sit in a focused environment and make sure we crossed all our T's and dotted all our i's.
At the end of the day, whether your kitchen supplier is stateside, or in Italy, changes after you've started production will cost you a lot of time and money, so its worth YOUR focused time up front to consider each and every last detail.

?? Construction of the Da Lat–Thap Cham Railway began in 1908, a decade after it had first been proposed by Paul Doumer, then Governor General of French Indochina, and proceeded in stages. Due to the difficulty of the mountainous terrain west of Sông Pha—where the Ngoan Muc Pass rose into the Central Highlands—construction proceeded slowly, requiring several rack railway sections and tunnels to be built. The railway was 84 km (52 mi) long, and rose almost 1,400 metres (4,600 ft) along a winding route with three rack rail sections and five tunnels. The railway tracks finally reached Da Lat in 1932, 24 years after construction had begun. Another railway station existed at the time, operated by the SGAI, a company that had managed the operation of the railway until that time. The job of designing and constructing a new railway station to replace the old one was given to French architects Moncet and Reveron, who submitted a proposal designed by Reveron in 1932. The new station would follow the Art Deco style popular at the time, but would incorporate some characteristics of a Cao Nguyen communal house of Vietnam's Central Highlands, specifically with its high, steep roofs. Construction of the new station began in 1935, directly supervised by Moncet, and was completed three years later in 1938, becoming one of the first colonial-style buildings to be erected in the area.

Throughout the Vietnam War, the Da Lat–Thap Cham line—as with the entire Vietnamese railway network—was a target of bombardments and sabotage. Relentlessly sabotaged and mined by the Viet Cong, the line gradually fell out of use, with regular operations coming to an end in 1968. Following the Fall of Saigon in April 1975, the railway was dismantled to provide materials for the repair of the main line. In the 1990s, however, a 7 km (4.3 mi) section of the line between Da Lat Railway Station and the nearby village of Trại Mát was restored and returned to active use as a tourist attraction.
A 2002 planning document listed the restoration of the entire Da Lat–Thap Cham railway as a priority for infrastructure development for Da Lat and Lâm Đồng Province, including the upgrading of Da Lat Railway Station to handle passenger and cargo transportation. The proposed renewal received the backing of provincial and local governments, and the national government indicated that private companies would also be allowed to participate in the reconstruction of the railway. The project would also include a connection to the North–South Railway at Thap Cham, allowing trains to circulate between Da Lat and the rest of the country for the first time since the Vietnam War. In December 2009, four rail cars restored to look like the rail cars used on the Da Lat–Thap Cham line in the 1930s were put into use on the Da Lat–Trai Mat tourist railroad, carrying signage reading "Dalat Plateau Rail Road".
