How a small consumer electrical appliances retail shop established in 1989 grew into an economic giant today with sales exceeding RM1.2Billion per annum.
Interesting to note:
1) Companies which don't disrupt will be disrupted. Conventional brick & mortar businesses are bound to fail, unless they have a clear digital transformation plan.
2) Investing in multiple E-commerce platforms & hiring a CTO or a CEO with digital background may be costly but worth it.
3) Every decision, from marketing to hiring practices, should be based on big-data. Data is the new oil!
4) Go the long-mile, especially during the "Last-mile" battle in fulfilling the desires of customers. Especially in a crowded field, personal touch helps.
5) Be a great boss. You need to have the grit, determination & vision to succeed, especially when fighting against all odds.

I’m all up for it cox going out = Bonding time for my family.. I remember when i was a kid, my dad will bring us to old Chinatown’s OG where we ride $1 toy motor rides or this mall near Paya Lebar that has a Yokoso emporium.. Both places are demolished and rebuilt into something else already. All the good memories we had as kids while going out with our parents ☺
Other reasons why i love shopping from physical stores, like customer service and free sampling 😂 My sister is in the service industry as a shop attendant and i know her job is not easy. So i am extra thankful when service crew offer beyond what’s required of them.
Like you can see from the picture, this staff (who really looks like Jam Hsiao btw haha) came over to offer help. I was looking for charging cables that won’t make me pull out all my hair 😡😂
