KERJA-KERJA PEMBAIKAN RUMAH MANGSA BENCANA DI TANJUNG SEDILI BERJALAN LANCAR
Kerja-kerja membaikpulih tiga kediaman penduduk yang terjejas teruk akibat dibadai ribut di Tanjung Sedili, Kota Tinggi pada bulan lalu berjalan lancar dengan kos pembaikan dibiayai oleh Yayasan Sultan Ibrahim Johor (YSIJ).
Pada 26 Julai lalu, DYMM Sultan Johor Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar berkenan mengemudi sendiri bot laju dari Mersing ke Jeti Awam Sedili Besar, bagi melawat kawasan perkampungan serta kediaman penduduk yang terjejas akibat bencana alam itu, dan turut menyampaikan sumbangan peribadi.
Yang Berhormat Mejar Cina Dato’ David Wong berkata kerja-kerja pembaikan melibatkan kediaman yang terjejas teruk sedang dijalankan dengan segala kos dibiayai oleh YSIJ seperti dititahkan DYMM Sultan Johor.
“Kerja-kerja pembaikan ini turut melibatkan pemasangan kotak suis DB, pendawaian semula, serta pemasangan lampu dan kipas siling.
“Baginda Tuanku Sultan turut bertitah supaya disampaikan bantuan tilam dan bantal kepada sebuah rumah yang rosak segala barangan dalam kejadian berkenaan,” katanya kepada Royal Press Office (RPO).
Terdahulu, Dato’ David Wong meninjau perkembangan kerja-kerja pembaikan yang sedang dijalankan.
Katanya, kerja-kerja pembaikan membabitkan kerosakan kecil beberapa kediaman turut dibaiki dengan dibiayai oleh YSIJ.
“Saya turut mempersembahkan kepada Baginda Tuanku Sultan perkembangan laporan terkini kerja-kerja pembaikan yang sedang dijalankan,” katanya.
