一般民眾對美國在台協會的瞭解主要是我們都在從事各種代表美國利益相關的工作，包括商業服務、農產品銷售、領事服務及文化交流。其實一直以來我們也相當關心台灣人民的需要，尋找可提供幫助弱勢民眾的機會，基於這個信念，我們已經連續三年和台灣三益策略發展協會合作，透過他們將電腦和週邊設備捐贈給有需要的台灣孩童，也同時將資源循環，環境友善的概念融入在其中。

The general public’s understanding of AIT is that we undertake a wide range of activities representing U.S. interests, including commercial services, agricultural sales, consular services, and cultural exchanges. In fact, we also look for opportunities to help vulnerable populations in Taiwan. Based on this belief, we have been cooperating with the Triple-E Institute for three consecutive years to donate computers and electronic equipment to those in need. Through donations like these, the United States and Taiwan can reinforce the concept of resource recycling and environmental friendliness.
