Recently picked up a random self-help book off the shelf and started reading. It wasn’t a very interesting book but I managed to sum it down to 13 habits we should learn to avoid if we want to lead a happier carefree life.
Thought of sharing it here - who knows - maybe someone would need this:
1. Refrain from feeling sorry for yourself.
2. Never give your power away to others.
3. Embrace change.
4. Avoid fretting about things you can’t control.
5. Stop worrying about pleasing everyone.
6. Never be afraid of taking risks, but be clever about which risks you take.
7. Resist the urge to dwell on the past.
8. Make sure to never make the same mistake twice.
9. Never be resentful of other people’s success.
10. Keep at it and never give up after an initial failure.
11. Face your fears of being alone and overcome them.
12. Be on your guard for feelings of entitlement.
13. Be patient and do not expect immediate results.
Screenshot, save it for a rainy day, or maybe share it with a friend whom you think is going through a hard time now.
It's never always rainbows and unicorns. When you’re feeling down, keep these ideas in mind.
Hope this helps! ♥️

Are we really who we portray to be? On one hand, social media has given a platform for people to truly express themselves. And on the other, it has given to some a mask to cower behind in order to fulfil a feeling of false entitlement. Everyone has a right to their thoughts or opinions, but where do we draw the line? Ironically, one thing that has united humanity more so than ever, has also been the very thing that is dividing us. The Internet is the most powerful tool a person could have at their disposition, and I believe that if we all took a more positive approach with the way we use social media, we can truly make an impact and change the world for the better.

Being in the public eye people have a sense of entitlement on my life and what I should or not be doing or feeling. People think they have the right to know about everything that goes on in my life. The truth is nobody has any say or control on my life. I choose to vlog certain things that I’m comfortable to share. Being pregnant doesn’t mean it’s all the same feeling for every woman out there. It’s ok to feel a certain way and I respect that for everyone and have no expectations. People can be mean, careless, inconsiderate, judgemental, no compassion and have such expectations that are not really up for them to say. I will go through the pregnancy the way I choose to. I will deal with all the consequences and responsibilities. It’s up to me and it goes my way and this is my journey to take to grow and learn on the way.
