The spa addict in me was screaming to try this new concept spa. Hits & misses here. I love the Japanese zen aesthetics, it was what got my attention when I passed by the spa yesterday. .
.
Everything so Japanese Spa vibe but when it comes to the real action, it lacked luster. I felt they weren’t serious in making this an experience, instead more of a touch & go add-on that would go well with your massage (it’s definitely nicer to have a warm relaxing hot bath before massage). I think details are very important in an experience.
.
.
(Summary) choose your Japanese bath salts (beauty/healing/calming) and select either 40 / 42 degrees (water temperature). U get 15mins to prep + 30mins for the real onsen bath time. The tub is made from Jap wood (smell the wood). .
.
My review, 1st service lack Jap hospitality. 2nd welcome cold Pandan drink & straight to the changing room (no foot wash). 3rd reviews ppl were given yukata but I was given a towel (just onsen no yukata) 4th bath toiletries (random/local handmade) made me feel like I was back in my own bathroom. 5th mineral bottle water next to your onsen. 6th can I suggest green tea (welcome & goodbye drink)? Throw in a small mochi or Japanese jelly & sure rate this 5 star.
.
.
I do like the idea of a onsen spa in a shoppin mall. If got $$$ can drop in out for a relaxing hot bath 2 freshen up & feel all pretty. To try it once for the experience but 2 repurchase again RM129/RM269 (with one hour massage) is a question 🤔
.
.
Would u pay RM129 for 30mins “onsen bath” ? What’s so special that Daiso/Shopee an alternative + home bath can’t? Is the bath water spring water or just normal tap water? .
.
Better as an add-on to a treatment (free/nominal top up). Pangkor Laut Spa for example gives its customers a complimentary Japanese bath and hot spring experience for free with any massage purchase (it’s a 5 star spa!)

無法反駁的真實❤️
NOTE:
- You will know if you learned a "Technique", if your teacher makes you do 1 thing a hundred times (and not 20 things a few times)
- You will know if you can Groove, if you go to a Black (Latino) Party in the Hood, and you dance with some one, and they don't walk away.
- You will know if you have solid foundation, if you throw down in a cipher, contest, or corner, and an OG/OT approaches YOU! (out of the blue) and says "you got down"
- You will know if you are teaching your students correctly, when a beat drops at an event, party, or walking down the street, and they immediately start catching a groove (not a step or move) when no one is watching.
- You will know if a dancer's swag is real, when the same 2 step they do before battle, matches the 2 step they do on the dance floor.
- You will know if your dance is solid, when you can rock with an open drink in your hand, and never spill a drop.
- You will know you are REALLY free-styling/beat freaking/doing musicality, when you rock a beat you NEVER HEARD BEFORE, and still catch the bells and whistles.
- You will know when you reached your pinnacle in dance, when you rock for 30 years plus, and you are still hungry to learn =)

"What is his name again?"
"XXX."
"No. I don't think he is what you say he is. I suggest you don't hire him."
"Too late. He has gone through 2 rounds of interviews and is approved by the boss. He has a lot of experience that will help our company's new line. He is what we need!"
"What is his surname?"
"YYY."
"I'm VERY sure he is not what he says he is. Despite his experience, no matter what he says, I can tell you he will not help to bring in more sales for your company. He does not bring luck to your boss."
One year later.
"The boss is very unhappy with XXX's performance."
"What happened?"
"He couldn't deliver and perform way below expectations. The ideas he gave all flopped. Now I'm given the task to ask him to leave."
"You should have believed my words. I always have the best interests of my clients. Moreover it was free advice I randomly gave you. You should not have doubted me. I don't need one year to know if an employee can make it or not. I didn't even need his Bazi or his photo to tell you you got the wrong man."
"Well, we don't know till we tried. At least now we know better."
Jack Ma does not befriend and do business with 3 types of people:
1. People who drink till they get drunk
2. People who gamble
3. People who take drugs
I do not think highly of a boss/manager, who gambles his company's money on a cannot-make-it employee.
No one succeeds in a business, without a team of people sacrificing their time and youth for you.
Every dollar of profit earned is a testament of their effort, right down to the admin clerk. Don't belittle their contributions.
To throw away the profits this way is letting your team down.
The layman entrepreneur can say "don't try don't know".
They are unable to see the future the way I can. Maybe they don't have access to a Feng Shui practitioner of such caliber.
But for a manager who received (did I mention "free") advice from me, yet chose to belittle, it is selfishness and lack of consideration for the people sloughing away their lives for you, to pay the bills at home.
The fool speaks from the mouth.
The clever man speaks from the brain.
The wise man speaks from the heart.
The new line never took flight and probably never will. A year ago, Shifu already said the product name was unsuitable for the boss.
If time can be justified in monetary terms, what will your balance sheet show it as? Another bad debt?
This reminds me... I should just spend more time taking annoying photos of myself as a Fortune Cat, than to mind the business of other people.
