#ITRIView As the electronic vehicle market expands, demand for rechargeable batteries has increased. However, lithium-ion batteries have problems including raw material scarcity and environmental and social problems. Dr. Mark Lu, a senior researcher at ITRI, believes that moving towards “Cobalt-free” batteries that deploy fewer harmful substances would bring further business opportunities to Taiwan. Accordingly, Taiwanese companies are already working on silicon-anode, solid-state electrolyte batteries (SSB) and other revolutionary materials.

This week, Nature N8 talks to Dr. Antonio Baclig about one of the possible solutions: vanadium flow batteries.
Antonio is a postdoc at Stanford University's Department of Materials Science and Engineering, working in The Chueh Group. He discusses the intermittency of green power, smart grids, and the challenges of designing a future battery for 100% renewable energy.

即使不知道盡頭的出口是晴朗或黑暗，但還是只能往前走吧」
在近期發表較灰暗及糜爛的作品，如「失眠」跟「爛墜」頗受好評後，MC耀宗(Zion P)在最新單曲「隧道」，延續了憂鬱調性並融入了些許早期勵志的風格。用”隧道”形容每個人生命中總是會偶遇的各種難關及挫敗，唱出人生即使遭遇突如其來的低潮，就算恐懼也只能拖著疲憊身軀的意念往前走!
編曲由Jaydos(曾替金曲歌后“孫盛希”製作單曲) 操刀，藉由吉他的主旋律及略帶Trap Soul混搭R&B的風格當作基底，輔以時而呢喃時而亢奮的說唱手法，融合出這首厭世但又帶點勵志的歌曲。今年發行的單曲「獨戰」跟「You Can'tHide」都找來Jaydos合作過，這次的”隧道”更是邀請他在2019年就特地從新加坡飛來台灣參與錄製及混音的誠意之作。
