Topic: Struggling with Stress Eating
This was me 7 days ago
I resisted eating like a mad dog for 5 days after my recent F Up, but sadly I just repeated another stress eating, finished devouring so much fast food all under 5-10 min
I shot this pic to remind myself that I fk up again…
Normally my instinct is to Go to the Gym & Lift
But this time I didn’t do that, instead I just ate like a mad man again who looked like he hasn’t eaten for 45 days
And I’ve faced this episode - many many times
This was one of those things I know that if I kept doing, it’s just gonna end up really bad for myself
And the truth is, I wasn’t willing to deal with the stress at the time and kept holding on to it, ending in another terrible binge eat that made me felt depressed & pissed off about myself
It was a downward spiral as I started to depend on Food more than ever - Not for energy & health purpose but more towards mental temporary relief
And I had enough
Enough of the BS I tell myself - that it’s okay to just eat and enjoy the moment
Enough of Stress Eating - it’s time to earn back self control & discipline
It starts now
I’m sharing this, not to gain pity, but because I know how fkn hard stress eating messes up my body and I didn’t know whom to talk to - because normally it’s people who reached out to me!
I felt ashamed as I tell people to show up and keep the fire burning, but my own fire is being put off by myself
Whatever my personal reasons are - it is not an excuse to keep fking up, and that’s why I’m sharing this publicly to hold myself accountable to all of you, and to commit to a Plan
I don’t believe in perfection - but I believe in owning up to my shit & to take full control to transform into the Beast I know I am Capable of being
I hope this simple sharing can give some of you who struggle with the same problem - some courage & energy to change something for the better
I know it’s tough af, but you’re not alone and that you can be in control, as long as you’re willing to put in the effort 🔥

車に「乗せてくれる?」や「乗ってきなよ」は英語で?

どこかへ車で移動する時、誰かの車に乗せてもらい場合の「乗せてもらえる?」や、誰かを乗せて上げる場合の「乗っていきます?」は英語ではどのように表現するのが自然でしょうか?

1) Can I get a ride?
→「(車に)乗せてくれますか?」

車でどこかへ移動する際に、誰かの車に乗せてもらえるかどうか尋ねる時の定番の言い回しです。車に乗ることを英語では「a ride」と表し、自分で運転をするのではなく、他の人が運転する車に乗せてもらうことを「Get a ride」を表します。ちなみに「Give a ride」だと「乗せて上げる」や「連れて行く」、「Want a ride」だと「一緒に乗りたい」を意味します。
✔イギリスでは、一般的にRideの代わりにLiftが使われる。
<例文>
Do you want a ride?
(一緒に乗っていく?)
I can give you a ride to the airport.
(空港まで連れて行くよ。)
〜会話例〜
A: Do you need a ride home? I can take you.
(家まで送迎は必要?送っていくよ。)
B: That would be great. Thanks.
(それだと助かります。ありがとうございます。)

2) Hop in
→「(車に)乗りなよ 」

Hopは元々「軽く飛ぶ」を意味することから、日常会話で友達や家族に「(車に)乗っていきなよ」とカジュアルな感じで言う場合に「Hop in」がよく使われます。
✔道案内をする時に「高速道路に乗って」と伝える時は「Hop on the freeway」と言う。
✔「Get in/on」でも「(車に)乗る」ことを意味する。
<例文>
Let's hop in the taxi.
(タクシーに乗りましょう。)
Come on, hop in. It's raining outside.
(早く乗りな。雨降ってるじゃん。)
〜会話例1〜
A: Do you think I can get a ride?
(一緒に乗っていい?)
B: Of course. Hop in.
(もちろん。乗って。)
〜会話例2〜
A: Can you tell me how to get there?
(行き方を教えてくれますか?)
B: Hop on the 405 North and get off on Santa Monica Blvd.

35-Minute Total Body Strength Training with Dumbbells | Joanna Soh
In order to get stronger, lean up and lose weight, you have to lift weights! Strength training will NOT make you bulky, but rather it will help to increase your metabolism, making your body burn fat more efficiently and to give you that toned and sculpted look. I perform strength training at least 3 - 4 times weekly and you should too.
This workout is a total body strength training using a pair of medium weight dumbbells, between 4 - 5kgs each. If you can lift heavier, then do choose a heavier pair of dumbbells to challenge your muscles. The technique used in this workout is called SUPERSET, that means we will be doing 2 exercises back to back with minimal rest in between. We'll be targeting your legs, butt, arms, chest, back and also abs! This workout is mainly low impact, with a short cardio blaster at the end of each circuit to drive your heart rate up. Only 35 minutes, but you'll be getting a solid full body workout!
Circuit: 6 rounds, repeat each round twice.
Sequence: 40 secs Work - 20 secs Rest
Duration: 35 minutes

2) Curtsy Lunge
Cardio: Squat Jump
SUPERSET 2
1) Hammer Curl to Shoulder Press
2) L Raises
Cardio: Punches
SUPERSET 3
1) Glute Bridge
2) Kneeling Hip Thruster
Cardio: In-Out Squat
SUPERSET 4
1) Push-ups with Shoulder Tap
2) Bridge Pullover
Cardio: Lateral Shoot Through
SUPERSET 5
1) Renegade Row
2) Superman Squeeze
Cardio: Skaters
SUPERSET 6
1) Full Crunches
2) Plank Arm Raise
Cardio: Mountain Climbers

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Some people may see my video titles as click-bait. YouTubers optimise their video's meta data for discovery due to how the algorithm is like. This isn't anything new. Targetting fat loss is not scientifically proven. Everyone is different and it takes time.
