I ordered dinner earlier today for my family from a popular food delivery service in Singapore with a pink-colored branding. It was supposed to arrive at 5.30pm, but it did not come even at 6.30pm.
I went on a chat with a live agent on the food delivery app, and the agent promised that the rider (delivery person) would deliver the food by 6.45pm (which is 1 hr and 15 mins late). Then, the agent proceeded to end the chat around 6.40pm without waiting for the food to be delivered.
When it became 7pm, the food was still no where in sight. I started a second chat with another agent, and the agent tried to call the rider and the rider was uncontactable. The agent advised to cancel the order and give me a refund, and I accepted.
Such a situation can be very frustrating, especially when my 5 year old daughter is waiting for her dinner.
Strangely, I did not feel anger, but was still composed and in peace.
The revelation that God will surely restore us no matter what bad thing happens to us really stabilizes me.
If something bad has happened to you, even if it is very grievous, be sure that God is able to restore MUCH MORE than you lost.
You are the eventual winner. The blood that Jesus shed at the cross paid for you to always enjoy God’s favor!
