BRIGHT EYES EVERY LIFETIME (English writing below)
一、宛如明灯一般地照亮世间;
二、眼睛没有疾病 ;
三、容易证得天眼通;
四、分辨善恶的智能;
五、不会发生胡涂昏暗的事情;
六、不易受到外在事物所迷惑 ;
七、不会出生在幽暗昏庸的地方;
八、有大福报;
九、命终生天尤其是往生忉利天;

A male client sought my consultation services for Bazi and Feng Shui, because he had problems looking for a job.
At that time, I was thinking there was bound to be some problem in his eyes and/or eye expression. On the night of 26 June, I did a FB Live on this: The 3 Conditions for A Man To Have A Successful Career. In that Live, I explained the correlation between a man's eyes and his career.
In our first meeting, the male client's eye expression was as what I deduced from his Bazi. However, the health of his eyes had more serious problems than I expected.
He told me, once in a supermarket, he suddenly saw many white light spots. After visiting the doctor, he then realised his eyes have serious problems and a certain part of his eyes were at risk of loosening.
During the Bazi analysis, I taught him how to use his favourable elements correctly and make up for his Bazi inadequacies through changing his spectacles and his diet, which will greatly boost his health. I also recommended a TCM practitioner to him. Some Bazi are suitable to seek Western doctors, while others are more suitable to seek TCM. However, even if the client is more fitted for TCM, I still have to consider the TCM practitioner's element and capability. My family and I have consulted this TCM practitioner before, hence my recommendation.
I later did a Feng Shui audit for the client.
While the client had never got his Bazi read till he read my articles, his home had been audited by other Masters before, but there were some key problems that had yet to be resolved.
Sometimes, it's not that the previous Masters were inaccurate, but the obstruction of the knowable in the clients can be too heavy.
About 3 weeks after the audit, the male client sent a PM, containing some good news for me. I am truly happy for him, and also hope that he do what is needed to transform his own destiny. In my Live on 8 June, I proclaimed that if a client adheres to 100% of my advice, he/she will definitely earn back the consultation fees paid to me. This is not me being haughty, but because I am very clear of my abilities, so why should I pretend that I am unable to give hope to clients?

It is our great fortune that we can be True Buddha disciples. It is also my greatest honour in this lifetime. But we must be careful, the place that the lion can jump over is not what a rabbit can hop over. The words of our Grandmaster, Living Buddha Lian-Sheng, contain very deep prajna-wisdom. We must contemplate on His words and not act after the same fashion, blindly using it on ourselves.
Grandmaster has a famous adage, "Everything is of the best arrangement."
Some fellow Dharma brothers and sisters will console themselves with this adage, when their lives turn rough. It's not wrong to think that way, but if you have been spiritually cultivating for many years, received numerous empowerments from Grandmaster, and yet have not seen any visible improvement, then have you misunderstood the Buddha wisdom of Grandmaster and used this adage to escape what you have been always doing wrong, without the heart to examine yourself thrice a day?
Buddhists who have taken refuge are more fortunate than most people, for they have more opportune affinities to transform their Destiny and cultivate good fortune.
Here are some of my recommendations, based on my past Feng Shui audit experience:
1. NEVER display holy religious statues or pictorial cards in the bedroom.
Most bedrooms are impure places, especially where there are sexual activity between a married couple, masturbation or sexual thoughts. Hence to be "openly" doing acts of filth in front of holy figures, is committing the sin of disrespect. This will create many obstacles in your Destiny.
2. Religious statues are not display artefacts. They should be worshipped accordingly and not used for home decor.
The number of religious statues worshipped has to be based on the number of home occupants, and the size of the house. Do not mistake that the more statues enshrined mean more blessings. On the contrary, when the Yin and Yang elements are out of balance, big problems will arise.
3. The pair of lotus lamps on your altar should be switched on 24/7
The little bulbs in the lotus lamps do not consume much electricity, but there are still people who wish to save money and only switch on the lamps on the 1st and 15th Lunar day, or in the daytime. That is unwise, because offering light to Buddhas & Bodhisattvas has inconceivable merits in both the secular and transmundane worlds.
In my personal altar room, for 10 over years, my lotus lamps are always switched on even when I go overseas. The only exception is when I change the bulbs or clean the petals. On my altar, I also offer oil lamp. Light offering is one of my favourite offerings. Before cultivation practice, I would offer a butter lamp. On special days, I would offer up to 7 butter lamps.
For transmundane merits, in the The Buddha Speaks of the Differences in Karmic Retribution for Elder Suka Sutra Catalogue, He expounded the Ten Benefits of Offering Lights: (extracted from internet)
1. One becomes like the light of the world.
2. One achieves clairvoyance of the pure eye as a human.
3. One achieves the deva's eye.
4. One receives the wisdom to discriminate virtue from non-virtue.
5. One is able to eliminate the concept of inherent existence.
6. One receives the illumination of wisdom.
7. One is reborn as a human or deva.
8. One receives great enjoyment wealth.
9. One quickly becomes liberated.
10. One quickly attains enlightenment.
For secular benefits, light offering can illuminate your path of luck in this life and future lifetimes, ensuring you a bright future. Your benefactors will be abundant and prominent. Your Destiny will not fall into darkness and helplessness. Offering lights will reap the benefit of bright healthy eyes. And bright healthy eyes are an auspicious sign of a flourishing career.

(English version below)
THE SIGHTINGS OF MASTER DAI HU (5)

In the beginning, I had trouble understanding these three terms: Heart, Buddha and Sentient Beings. After accumulating many years of receiving empowerment at the Puja events, head blessings from my Root Guru Master, persistent practical cultivation of the Dharma, going out to propagate the Dharma and Chinese Metaphysics and benefit sentient beings, opening up my phone line to widely help sentient beings, writing articles to deliver sentient beings, etc, I finally understand, at this age of mine, that the Heart, Buddha and Sentient Being are One, and not divided. Only at my current age do I understand why the Vajrayana school of Buddhism places foremost importance on the Root Guru Master and why His empowerment is unimaginable. The Dharma is the only key to unlocking the door of your heart, and once the door of your heart is unlocked, the Immeasurable Light will overcome the darkness of Ignorance. This is the abode of the King of Heart, the beginning and eventual goal of the Dharma, the real meaning of Buddhism. The Buddha expounded that there is no Dharma outside of your heart. How very true! The Buddha expounded that all Dharmadhatu arises from our Buddha's Nature. This is the absolute truth.
I was at a certain 5-star hotel in town, in full focus of conducting a long-awaited Bazi analysis for a female student of mine. Halfway into explaining her luck cycles, I noticed that she was going to experience a severe blood disaster in the near future. Since young, Master Dai Hu is a person who does not like and cannot bear to see another person or animal shed blood. As a spiritual practitioner with vows, not only did I plan to tell her this divination, I also intended to spare no effort to help her escape this fate. Thus, I gently asked if she had any accident before that involved blood loss. She told me that she did not recall any. I told her that in the next one to two years, she must remember my words and take extra caution with her health, and avoid all risky activities. Fact is, she was pregnant with her 3rd child during that time, and I had the hunch that this unborn child will bring misfortune to her. One day, her husband, also a student of mine, came rushing to me and told me that her wife lost a lot of blood and was under emergency rescue.
Coincidentally, there was a puja event by my Buddhist sect and several eminent Vajra Masters were in Singapore. I told this male student of mine to quickly attend the puja event and do a registration for his wife, whose life was going to be on a precarious tenure. In addition, I told him to purchase offerings for the fire offering and make an utmost sincere prayer to the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and the Dharma Protectors to compassionately bless his wife with good fortunes. After everything, he told me that the doctors transfused 7 bags of blood to successfully resuscitate his wife. He also told us that the offerings he offered during the Fire Offering was exactly 7 packets! The number 7 is considered a complete and perfect number in Buddhism. This number is also one of the secrets of the Universe cycle. I include this true story of delivering sentient beings in this article The Sightings Of Master Dai Hu (5), mainly to tell you the unimaginable powers of the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and the Dharma Protectors, as well as never ever ignore the well-meaning advice Master Dai Hu gives you.

I sometimes ask myself, what will I do, if I'm caught in a mass disaster?
Will I, like the passengers in United Flight 93, revolt against the 911 terrorists and drive the plane away from their intended target?
Will I do what the 22-year-old Park Ji Young did in the Sewol ferry disaster, refusing to leave the sinking ship as long as there is a passenger onboard?
Or will I just run and flee, and maybe regret for the rest of my life for not doing more to save my fellow humans from dying in vain?
I read reports of the Las Vegas shooting and think about love.
The lack of love that make a person think it is okay to take away the life of another human being.
Leaving behind orphans, broken families, shattered hearts and bloodied bodies.
Few nights ago, a client was lamenting to me.
She couldn't understand why life was happening so badly for her, in her marriage and career.
She was aware of her bad temper but other than that, she didn't think she was that bad a person to deserve such a destiny.
I asked her:
A mother who can murder an innocent child, and have not done any great compensation or repentance for her aborted baby, after 20 years.
Despite me telling her the sins of abortion early this year.
How can a person like this have a good heart?
Just saying that you didn't feel good is not sufficient when you make a deliberate decision to kill.
It's lame.
In the mortal world, murder calls for either lifetime imprisonment or death penalty.
That's just the mortal world.
In the netherworld, when your baby goes screaming and crying to the King of Hades, you pay for your sin with your destiny.
She said I was very blunt to make her understand.
I replied that she has been living in a cloak of self deceit.
Sure I can talk nicely to you, if making money from you is what I care more than your karmic debts.
But I do not see my clients as my ATM machines.
When the notion of self-benefit is non-existent, it is easier to speak the honest truth.
After all, you come to me to change your destiny, not to hear sweet nothings.
Many women aborting doesn't justify it to be a normal or harmless thing to do.
Many people killing senselessly and selfishly doesn't make it right.
It's not easy to be reborn as a human.
In the six realms of reincarnation, the human realm is the most precious as it is most conducive for cultivation towards Buddhahood.
If my memory serves me right, once in a conversation with his disciple, Buddha remarked that the number of sentient beings in this Samsara world is as vast as the number of sand grains in a desert.
With His bare hand, He picked up a handful of sand from the ground.
And said, but the number of people who get to be reborn as humans are only as little as the amount of sand grains in His hand.
Even that little amount is slowly slipping through his fingers as He spoke.
It's even harder to be born as a healthy human who gets a decent education and comprehends what I am writing here.
I like what James Altucher inferred about life: Life is not something given or taken at a whim.
Nobody has the right to take away another person's life.
During CNY this year, Shifu did a Learning Session telling us his world analysis. Which countries we should avoid Travelling to and how there will be many fires around the world, particularly in which countries, that includes bombing and shooting.
I hope the attendees took it to heart.
My Grandmaster, Living Buddha Lian-Sheng has summed the world outlook with a Chinese character "亂" (Messy).
PM Lee has said it's not a matter of whether, but when, a terriost attack may launch in Singapore.
There is darkness in every one of us.
We all had bad thoughts that we never utter.
We all had ugly acts that we don't want others to know about.
But I believe succumbing to darkness never make anyone happy permanently.
In my unhappiest and darkest days, I still hope that someone out there will be happier than me, living a life more fulfilled than mine.
It is so painful that I hope nobody has to go through what I went through.
That is why I take time to write.
While the eventual goal of learning the Dharma is to become a Buddha, there are many ways to start off in a less lofty manner for the uninitiated.
One way would be not to harm others with your words, intent and actions.
That is why our precepts tell us not to kill, not to take what doesn't belong to you, not to deceive, not to engage in sexual misconduct and not to consume intoxicants.
On the surface, it seems we are doing it for ourselves, not wanting more bad karma.
Fact is, we are learning how not to hurt other sentient beings, how to love and live life in a wholesome and meaningful way.
I don't think such thinking is exclusive to Buddhists.
It should be the cornerstone of any human being.
I am an advocate that the good will always triumph over evil.
I always affirm that the Light will prevail over Darkness.
Before we start pointing our fingers at the attackers, let's take an insightful look into ourselves.
Are we acting like a terrorist to our loved ones?
Killing off their happiness and meaning to living by cheating on them or treating them like dirt?
Or killing innocent children we call our flesh and blood?
Are we killing ourselves by living irresponsibly, letting our desires rule over our humanity and never contributing to others?
It is ridiculous to ask love from others when we don't have the capability to love well.
If we have failed before, it is never too late to repent.
This Mid-Autumn Festival, I wish for you to have a heart like the full moon, radiant and bright, dispelling the gloomy clouds of greed, ignorance and hatred.
And wherever or whoever you may be, please be well, kind and happy.
For the ones who died too soon, may you be reborn in a better realm.
