The InnoVEX team is glad to be invited by OSENSE to watch the 2019 Premier 12 Japan vs Chinese Taipei game in Taichung, while testing OSENSE’s newly released APP, “O’Hero”. O’Hero is a user friendly app that provides a whole new in stadium experience with its AR opening ceremony and its AR interactions. It also has an usher function simply by scanning your ticket, so no matter if it’s your first time here at the stadium or if you have been here for multiple times, you’ll waste no time looking for your seat.
There are two functions we enjoy most about O’Hero, Tactical map and Highlight replay. Tactical Map shows the positions of all players on both sides that are on the field, and highlight replay are available as soon as teams switches. This allows me to get real time information while I’m out buying drinks or waiting in line for restroom. It also has a lucky lottery for everyone that downloaded the app for the first time and the prize that day was IPhone 11, but I guess it’s just wasn’t our day.
Overall the app experience was really smooth, and the energy from the stadium is really something that cannot be replaced by broadcasting. We’ll definitely go to another game in the near future and use O’Hero to upgrade our in stadium experience.
