Swimming in a sea of books! So we sorted out our book haul from @sgbookdeals and this year, we managed to squeeze in a total of 55 books. Not bad, right? That means each book would have cost less than $0.91!
Out of all of them, 49 were for kids so we only went home with 6 adult books. Oh well, the things we do for our kids. These kids are definitely feeling on top of the world and I'm happy to see that the love for books runs strong in our home nowadays. Even the 3-year-old is asking us to read to him every day and he will try to do it on his own afterwards - and ends up with a string of gibberish, of course! It is heartening to see and I'm motivated to pick up a novel to read too. Never mind that our library was already full prior to this and I have absolutely no idea how we are going to store these books. When there's a will, there's a way, right?

P.S. No lar, the kids don't get to lie down to read books. This was purely for photo-taking purpose. This Mama is still hoping to keep them free from myopia for a long time to come and I will gladly choose books over electronic devices as my babysitter anytime. Let's all work towards making reading a daily affair for our little ones and cultivate their love for books, yeah? ❤
