As a dad to a 3 year old daughter, I don’t want to give her a taste of the things of darkness and mislead her to think that they’re harmless.
Just because evil repackages itself to be attractive, cute and tries to bribe children with candies, doesn’t mean that suddenly it’s okay because it’s not ‘scary’.
If you give them an enjoyable taste of evil things now when they’re young, they’ll develop a liking to evil and crave for more.
Children are very impressionable and what they absorb in their childhood becomes very hard to change when they are adults.
Spare them from unnecessary troubles and please don’t stumble these little ones.
Listen, as children of God, we are set apart from the world. Let’s shine brighter as a testimony for Jesus. We have no fellowship with the deeds of darkness.
I’d rather consistently give my daughter a taste of the things of God such as the Bible, Holy Communion, prayer, praise and worship—so she can taste and see (personally experience) that Jesus is good.

Sometimes all one need is someone who looks beyond the flaws and compliments all the good thing they possess. Someone who says "you are good for me" and "I am proud of you" rather than listing down all the things they need to improve. Sometimes, we need someone who truly appreciates our existence in their life and always showing that we are important because we are and to listen to the words we speak. Specially if you are in a relationship then always try to boost their spirit and never try to make them feel like they will never going to be enough for you. Jokes that seems harmless to you can have big consequences for them. Be aware that small things you say can take on a much bigger meaning for them. This is not to suggest that you need to weigh every word before you speak, just be aware that anything negative may hold a greater meaning to them than you intended. •
