✨ Seattle small trips in town ✨
Before I came to Seattle, I saw that the friends around me only came for just two or three days. I didn't expect anything, but after my own careful study, I found that there are quite a lot of places to play.
I originally wanted to say that I would have played for three or five days, but silently lined up a lot of days! 😂 😂 😂
In seven days in Seattle, the weather forecast is only three days of rain in a whole week. Rare Sun, dazzling light and blue sky brilliant ❤️

We bought Seattle city pass!
Highly recommended!!!! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
It's cheaper than you to buy a ticket alone. You can choose five attractions to visit. The focus is that traffic is very convenient and you can reach by walking.
We went to these five places with city pass
Space Needle Tower / Chihuli Exhibition / Mopop Museum / Seattle Aquarium / agosi cruise ship
💧 Space Tip: the most iconic building, our tickets can go up twice, once in the morning, the beauty of the day can see the snow-White Rainier Mountain with white clouds ; you can see glazed city night view at night; great view!!! and thoughtful auto shots, so you can capture the beauty of the city without taking selfies!
Ex: you can book your time tickets before you go to space needle tower, or if you go temporarily, you might be full, you have to run again!
💧 Chihuli Exhibition: seeing colorful glass artworks listed in the gallery, transparent and bright colors shining in the eyes.
💧 Mopop Museum: this one surprised me for two hours of shopping. In addition to introducing the legend of the Seattle music band, there is also movie horror space exhibition and 90 s movies Technology and so on, having fun! A big burst of children!!! 😂 😂
💧 Seattle Aquarium: see a variety of bright and beautiful underwater creatures in the sea, and also saw a very educational feeding fish show. It is recommended to bring children to know fish and coral.
💧 Agosi cruise cruise: an hour in advance, an hour in advance, an hour of cruise experience, seaside scenery by the seaside with Seattle cities, the weather and breeze make the most beautiful memories and scenery.
Ex: there are a little different time adjustments every season, so you have to book your time tickets an hour in advance before taking a cruise, so you won't be empty!

If you want to explore this city, I sincerely recommend klook city pass, cheaper than official website!
Buy City Pass URL:
https://www.klook.com/zh-TW/invite/L9283?c=CAD
We didn't buy internet because there are so many wifi in Seattle, as long as you download the offline map when there is internet, basically, there is no big problem with city travel.
However, to be honest, summer activities are more than winter, many activities are only limited to summer, but it's still fun to go to winter because there are also many options for indoor travel ❤️
This city gives us quiet and clean; cool sea breeze blows on the face, very comfortable ❤️ ❤️
More Detailed blog will be written later to introduce the beauty here ❤️ ❤️

I've always wondered what Vietnam was like, especially after hearing about it in history books my whole life, but it definitely was nothing like what I was expecting. It exceeded all expectations in fact!
I'm also really glad that the first city I ever visited in Vietnam was Hoy An because it set the bar very high for the rest of the country. Very calm and relaxing. Brilliant weather that was neither too hot nor too cold. Very tourist friendly yet maintaining every aspect of it's Asian-ness. And a beautiful sense of harmony, decoration and culture.

My first taste of Life in Vietnam: Starting the day nice and early in the taxi en route to the old part of the city, also known as "old Town" to the tourists. A very busy district that is absolutely swamped with people and bikes and motorbikes and tourists and shops and stalls... a VERY COLOURFUL PLACE!
Once we got there we decided to take a little ride in some rickshaws that were parked on the side of the streets. Pretty fun. I felt like the queen strolling around getting pushed around lavishly. hehe
The Vietnamese Rickshaws took us around 'old town', down all the beautiful streets that were filled with merchants and vendors selling special Vietnamese bits and pieces and then along the river.
It was quite crazy to see how everyone's drives on the streets. I think I now understand why people think that asian's drive like crazy. HAHA. Because the Vietnamese have a talent of not crashing considering the chaos that happens on the streets. hehe.
Also got to go through the wet market where women were selling food stuffs and local produce. Such a beautiful layout of colours and culture. Loved it there. Even met this lady who was releasing tied up crabs and throwing them back into the river...
Couldn't for the life of me communicate with her because she didn't speak English, but I thought it was quite a sweet thing she was doing.
Then we went to a small food center and I had my first proper official Vietnamese meal. I got a vegetarian noodle dish and I absolutely LOVED it. I think it was my favourite meal while I was there.
We headed back home in the early afternoon where I greeted my bed with much enthusiasm.
And that was the end of the video!
Thank you guys for watching and seeing a little bit of the life in Vietnam. Looking forward to the next one!

What inspired me?
When I first moved to Shanghai, I stumbled upon an old residential alleyway and saw bamboo sticks poking out of windows with laundry hanging onto them, waving in the air.
To me, that was incredibly beautiful. And the amazing thing is seeing something so traditional in a modern, fast-paced city like Shanghai. When I told locals how I was fascinated by these, they said, 'You crazy! This is so ugly!' Haha.
Zhang Yimou is a famous Chinese film director, who directed the movies Hero, House of Flying Daggers, Raise the Red Lantern, and also was the art director for the Beijing Olympics. Many of his movies reflect the beauty of the Chinese culture, through the use of bamboos and traditional costumes. I thought Zhang Yimou's portrait done in a Shanghainese laneway, with bamboo and laundry would be perfect for this project.
I ended up using 750 pairs of socks because shirts were too big and expensive, plus I found an interesting way to pin the socks together, creating a diamond-shaped piece of skin. It was interesting to see the different angles of shadows casted on it throughout the day.
Also, notice the quirks of the local Chinese living in that area! Many of them were really curious and came to help. What started off as a personal piece became a community project! It was amazing seeing how they were excited to see this piece come into completion...and this was also how I got to know my neighbours in Shanghai! :)
