จุดประสงค์ของ COPPA คือป้องกันไม่ให้เด็กอายุต่ำกว่า 13 ปีเอาข้อมูลส่วนตัวต่าง ๆ เช่น ชื่อ ที่อยู่ เบอร์โทรศัพท์ ไปให้กับเว็บไซต์ต่าง ๆ โดยผู้ปกครองไม่ยินยอม
เพราะกลัวว่าข้อมูลเหล่านั้นจะถูกใช้ในทางผิดกฏหมาย

FTC เล็งเห็นว่าภัยที่แท้จริงไม่ใช่การที่เด็กจะเอาข้อมูลไปบอกเว็บต่าง ๆ หรอก

ซึ่งเว็บไซต์ต่างมักเก็บข้อมูลจาก Cookies เราแล้วนำไปขาย ให้กับคนที่ลงโฆษณาออนไลน์ เพื่อที่จะสามารถแสดงโฆษณาได้ตรงกับที่แต่ละคนสนใจ

ซึ่งเว็บต่าง ๆ รวมทั้ง Youtube เองก็เก็บ Cookies และที่ FTC เล็งเห็นเว็บไซต์ต่าง ๆ เก็บ Cookies ที่สร้างโดยเด็กอายุต่ำกว่า 13 ปี จึงแก้กฏหมาย COPPA

เวลามีใครพูดประโยคนี้ขึ้นมา ด้วยความเคยชิน เราอาจจะบอกเขากลับไปว่า “รีบกลับไปกินยาดักเอาไว้ก่อนเลยนะ” หรือไม่ ก็เป็นเราเองนี่แหละที่พอรู้สึกเหมือนจะไม่สบาย ก็ต้องรีบหายาไม่ว่าจะพาราเซตามอล (ที่ไม่ได้เอาไว้ดักไข้เลย) หรือยาปฏิชีวนะอื่น ๆ มาทานเพื่อที่ความป่วยจะได้ไม่เข้ามาย่างกรายในชีวิตอีกต่อไป

แต่หารู้ไม่ว่า สิ่งที่เคยเชื่อ ๆ กันมาแบบนี้เป็นเรื่องที่ผิด! ยาดักไข้ไม่มีอยู่จริง แล้วอะไรที่เป็นความจริง เราไปดูกัน
.
สาเหตุที่ทำให้การกินยาดักไข้เป็นความเชื่อที่ผิด ต้องเข้าใจองค์ประกอบอยู่สองอย่าง คือ ลักษณะของอาการเป็นไข้ และ การออกฤทธิ์ของยา เสียก่อน
.
อย่างแรกเลย ไข้หวัดสามารถเกิดขึ้นได้จากทั้งเชื้อแบคทีเรียและไวรัส แต่โดยส่วนมากแล้วมักจะเกิดขึ้นจากไวรัส ซึ่งอาการเบื้องต้นก็จะมีน้ำมูก คัดจมูก ไอ เจ็บคอ เป็นต้น และคราวนี้ถ้าเราจะกินยาเข้าไป ไม่ว่าจะพาราเซตามอลหรือยาปฏิชีวนะ ยาเหล่านี้ก็จะไปแก้อาการให้ เพราะหน้าที่ของยาคือ “การแก้หรือรักษา” ไม่ใช่การป้องกัน
.
หลังจากที่เรารู้แล้วว่าเราเป็นหวัดเพราะอะไร ก็ต้องมาเข้าใจการทำงานของยา ไม่ใช่ว่าเรากินยาเข้าไปแล้วมันจะออกฤทธิ์เลย แต่ยาเองก็มีกระบวนการในการย่อยเช่นกันซึ่งขึ้นอยู่กับชนิดของยาว่าจะไปถูกดูดซึมได้ทีไหน ยาบางชนิดอาจจะถูกดูดซึมที่กระเพาะอาหารหรือลำไส้ แต่เมื่อดูดซึมเข้าไปแล้วจะถูกส่งไปยังกระแสเลือด
.
ความอันตรายอยู่ที่ตรงนี้แหละ พอยาเข้าสู่กระแสเลือดแล้ว มันจะมุ่งหน้าตรงไปที่ตับก่อน และอันที่จริงแล้วยาก็นับว่าเป็นสิ่งแปลกปลอมของร่างกาย ตับของเราจึงพยายามจะกำจัดยาบางส่วนออก และคราวนี้ ถ้าหากว่ายาที่เราได้รับในปริมาณที่มากเกินไป ตับก็จะทำงานมากเกินความจำเป็น ซึ่งคราวนี้ถ้าตับทำงานหนักมากเกินไปในระยะเวลานาน ก็จะส่งผลให้ตับเสื่อมสภาพได้อย่างรวดเร็วเช่นกัน และการทานยาดักไข้มาก ๆ เข้าก็ส่งผลเช่นเดียวกัน
.
ดังนั้นแล้วถ้าหากแค่ “รู้สึกว่าจะไม่สบาย” ทางออกจึงไม่ใช่การกินยาดัก แต่เป็นการพักผ่อนที่เพียงพอมากกว่า ซึ่งเรามีวิธีการปฏิบัติตัวดังต่อไปนี้
.
1. ดื่มน้ำเปล่า - เพื่อให้ร่างกายได้ขับปัสสาวะ หรือของเสียออกมาเยอะ ๆ และช่วยให้อุณหภูมิในร่างกายได้เย็นลง และป้องกันภาวะการขาดน้ำ
.
2.ทานฟ้าทะลายโจร - ฟ้าทะลายโจรไม่ใช่ยา แต่เป็นสมุนไพรที่มีส่วนช่วยกระตุ้นระบบภูมิคุ้มกันของร่างกายได้
.
3.ทานวิตามินซี - หรือถ้าใครกลัวขม ก็สามารถทานวิตามินซีซึ่งมีคุณสมบัติเสริมภูมิคุ้มกันของร่างกายได้เช่นกัน โดยพยายามเลือกวิตามินซีที่ทำมาจากธรรมชาติจะดีกว่า

4.นอนพักผ่อนให้เพียงพอ - หากทำทั้งหมดที่ว่ามาแล้วยังนอนดึกอยู่อีก คราวนี้อาจจะเป็นหวัดขึ้นมาจริง ๆ ได้ เพราะเมื่อเรานอนหลับพักผ่อนเพียงพอ จะทำให้ร่างกายสามารถซ่อมแซมตัวเองได้ดีกว่าการอดหลับอดนอน

เพราะฉะนั้นแล้ว ครั้งหน้าที่รู้สึกไม่สบาย หรือมีคนใกล้ตัวบอกมาอย่างนั้น อย่าเพิ่งแนะนำให้รีบทานยา เพราะนอกจากไม่ช่วยอะไรแล้วยังอาจเกิดผลเสียตามมามากกว่าอีกด้วย โดยเฉพาะยิ่งช่วงนี้ที่อากาศแปรปรวน เดี๋ยวร้อนเดี๋ยวหนาว และยังมีฝนตกอีก อย่าลืมดูแลตัวเองกันด้วยนะ

ทำไมเด็กติดมือถือ...

👉🏾ผู้ใหญ่หยิบยื่นให้ในวัยที่ยังไม่ควร
👉🏾ผู้ใหญ่ปล่อยให้เล่นไปแบบไม่เคยมีกฏ กติกา
👉🏾ไม่มีผู้ใหญ่พาไปทำอะไรที่สนุกกว่า
👉🏾ผู้ใหญ่กลัวเสียงร้องไห้ ไม่อยากขัดใจ กลัวลูกหลานไม่รัก
👉🏾ผู้ใหญ่เอามาฝึกนิสัย ให้กินข้าว ให้อาบน้ำ ให้นั่งนิ่งๆ

แต่เราอาจจะได้เด็กขี้กลัว งอแงง่าย ไปจนถึงกับ phobia

และที่เลวร้าย...

เด็กที่ “ไม่เชื่อถือผู้ใหญ่” ของตัวเอง 😣😣

อย่าทำเลยนะคะ...

ปรับที่ “ตัวเอง” ช่วยลูกเรื่องการฝึกวินัย

อาจไม่ง่าย... แต่ยั่งยืนกว่าเยอะ 😂
