A Kingdom Prepared for you

“Then the King will tell those on his right hand, ‘Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry, and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger, and you took me in. I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you visited me. I was in prison, and you came to me.’” (Matthew‬ ‭25:34-36‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Just pause and think about this: God prepared the Kingdom for us—His children, from the foundation of the world.

He did not even make it for Himself. It was made beautiful, spacious, and glorious for us who have placed our faith in the name of Yahweh (before Jesus appeared)/Jesus (Yeshua).

“The King will answer and say to them, ‘I assure you and most solemnly say to you, to the extent that you did it for one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it for Me.’” (Matthew‬ ‭25:40‬ ‭AMP‬‬)

The righteous are instructed to do good to fellow believers who are Jesus’ brothers and sisters.

These are the ways of doing good to fellow believers that Jesus mentioned:
1. Feeding the hungry
2. Giving a drink to the thirsty
3. Showing hospitality by providing lodging
4. Clothing those who have no means to obtain basic necessities
5. Visiting and praying for the sick
6. Visiting those who are in prison and taking the Gospel to them

Every believer is a member of the body of Christ, so if you do good to a believer, you are doing it to Christ Jesus.

“Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.” (Galatians‬ ‭6:9-10‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

We are taught to do good towards all men, but especially to fellow believers. When we do good as we have opportunity, we are doing it as unto the Lord.

“And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.” (Colossians‬ ‭3:23-24‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

I understand how doing good can make you weary—when others are unappreciative or take advantage of you, despite you giving your best to do good. It can feel pointless at times because people can be so heartless.

However for you are doing good mainly as for the Lord Jesus, and not for men. The Lord will reward you, even if men’s intentions were impure.

We have a Kingdom prepared for us that is an unshakable inheritance. While we are here in this world, let us pray at all times, share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and showcase God’s love by doing good, using the gifts and grace we have received. That is the best we can do while waiting for the Lord’s imminent return!

Lord bless this country. It has beautiful people with hearts for each other. Thank you for the beautiful land where we have summer all year round. I pray Lord that we are led well by our leaders and for the people to always stay united. I pray Lord for covid cases reduce, for the mental state of everyone who feels down, for the good health of everyone so they can continue to live good long lives. May families be protected by Your angels in every waking moment. Let there be joy peace and contentment in everyone's heart.

Turn your Water Into Wine

“The third day, there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there. Jesus also was invited, with his disciples, to the marriage. When the wine ran out, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no wine.” Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does that have to do with you and me? My hour has not yet come.” His mother said to the servants, “Whatever he says to you, do it.” Now there were six water pots of stone set there after the Jews’ way of purifying, containing two or three metretes apiece. Jesus said to them, “Fill the water pots with water.” They filled them up to the brim. He said to them, “Now draw some out, and take it to the ruler of the feast.” So they took it. When the ruler of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and didn’t know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the ruler of the feast called the bridegroom, and said to him, “Everyone serves the good wine first, and when the guests have drunk freely, then that which is worse. You have kept the good wine until now!” This beginning of his signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.” (John‬ ‭2:1-11‬ ‭WEB)

The first miracle Jesus ever worked as a man is the one of turning water into wine.

What is that one thing that you lack, that you’re thinking, “It’s impossible, there’s not enough time for it to happen,” and you have almost given up on it?

If God could turn water into wine, then He can turn your sorrow into joy, your mess into massive restoration, your sickness into overflowing health, and your poverty into abundance.

God did not even use grapes. It was not even water pots filled with grape juice. It was water.

What is it that you have now? Your water pots filled with water (cheap) can soon become excellent wine (valuable).

The key is to believe in what God is saying to you now.

Jesus released two sets of instructions filled with the power and authority of God: “Fill the water pots with water” and “Now draw some out, and take it to the ruler of the feast.”

When the servants obeyed this rhema word, the miracle happened.

It is important to hear what God is saying to you now.

You cannot just presumptuously bring a water pot filled with water now and expect God to turn it into wine, if He did not instruct you to.

What is that one thing that the Holy Spirit is bringing to the forefront of your mind and heart now? That one “water” that needs to become excellent “wine”?

Ask Abba God to do it for you.

Pray with me: “Dear Abba God, thank you for loving me so much. You are good, generous, and powerful. Nothing is impossible for You. I need You to turn _____ (the problem) into _____ (the desired outcome) now. I receive this miracle in Jesus’ name. Amen!”
