பொங்கலோ பொங்கல்! Happy Pongal to all who celebrate it!
Pongal is a traditional Tamil harvest festival that marks the beginning of the auspicious month of Thai. It is typically celebrated over four days with families gathering to make Pongal (sweet boiled rice) together.
The recent cold and wet weather has not dimmed the dazzling Pongal light-up in Serangoon Road. If you are looking to find out more about Pongal, or for activities to do, you can find out more at the Indian Heritage Centre. – LHL
