... Not gonna lie. It's been a difficult past couple of days. The world news is brimming with chaos and heartache; and here in Singapore, we've just had our 1st day of the tightest measures in a year, with cases still climbing. The general mood is incredibly low.
I know it's incredibly, incredibly hard. I know it's a lot. I know a lot of us have been holding ourselves together for the longest time, and it feels like we've tipped over the breaking point.
But hold on to the fact that you're healthy, and you're alive. You are still here, breathing the good air. Hold on to your loved ones who are still here - at least they are safe and here and they love you.
Money can be earned back eventually, and even the most stressful and awful of times will pass eventually. Health and love are the two things that are absolutely priceless - so hold on to the knowledge that at least we have them. Cleave to them.
I'm sending a lot of love to all of you. It's okay to be down. It's okay to be angry and upset, even while being grateful to be alive. Just please remember that you are not alone. And that it may not feel completely better in the morning... But maybe the morning after this one. Or the morning after that. We humans are surprisingly resilient. I have faith in you. If you need a listening ear, I'm a DM away.
