王建揚，１９８１年生，國立台灣藝術大學美術系畢業，現從事專職藝術創作，以攝影和繪畫為創作媒介，出版<王建揚宅攝影選輯>攝影集。 2009年即以< 宅 >系列攝影作品榮獲村上隆舉辦的第一屆GEISAI TAIWAN龜井誠一評審獎， 2010年再度於美國IPA國際攝影賽獲得純藝術類總首獎、裸體項及人物類其他項第一。另獲Photography Masters Cup裸體類第二名等肯定。第二屆GEISAI TAIWAN以繪畫作品< TOYS>再度獲村上隆賞識並一舉奪下金獎。2011年與五月天阿信、不二良、聶永真、古又文於華山創意園區舉辦< 一克拉的夢想 >展，吸引近九萬的觀眾購票參觀，並先後獲邀於台北、東京、美國聖地牙哥、上海、香港、澳洲墨爾本等地展覽。
