我是個習慣聽歌會一直單首輪播到煩死的人，認識Radiohead已有些時日，但也是年紀增
長才開始慢慢能懂他們可能在講什麼。
不知道大家有沒有這樣想過。
在OK Computer二十歲之後作為慶祝，分享心得就獻給這首。

近年愈發有感 Karma Polic 是電臺頭強大的預言之作，也（可能）聽懂了這歌其實
不是在講什麼業障還是輪迴，還是籠統的資本主義權力結構問題，要把焦點放到全球化
與當時的時代氛圍，可能會對脈絡更了解深刻。
把專輯概念、所有報導、訪談內容紀錄和當下網路崛起的時代去做交疊，
甚至能搭配起MV的運鏡和意象，大家會更清楚歌曲中分布的角色為何，其實也更明白MV
之中每個元素（包括被追的人、為什麼地上有漏油、為什麼湯叔消失....）。
當時類似Political Correctness（政治正確）這種名詞還沒有因為寬頻網路時代來臨
像現在這樣大放異彩，所以樂團會用「Karma Police」去借指這種評斷他人冒犯、指責
他人不是、評斷那些用了地獄梗的人....的"私人公權力"：
Radiohead members used to tell one another that they would call
"the karma police" on them if they did something bad.

以及後述的
Yorke explained that the song was about stress and "having people
looking at you in that certain [malicious] way, I can't handle it
anymore".
歌詞中譯用最平牌樸實的方式去建構，但畢竟不是英國人所以查了一些英國口語大致
的使用方式，照著這種脈絡也明白（腦補？）推敲可能的語氣，希望大家能夠感受到。

謝謝糾錯 文法不夠好ㄏㄏㄏ 更新上去
有想過但在中文裡說自己是「不請自來」有點怪XD 應該會調整一下中文用詞
會想表達「入侵私領域」「因此師出有名」這種味道 翻得不好還請多提點了ＱＱ
那句其實想很久 這樣一講正確多了

恩恩，畢竟只有湯姆約克知道發生什麼事，我們都只能試圖殺死作者而已。
何況被廣泛流傳的中文歌詞，更不知所謂的變成藝文詠嘆外加神話故事，對於有自作聰明
批判性的Radiohead好像不是那麼回事？所以試著釐清一些脈絡。
其實末尾我想表達的是：當自己也當企圖當起「業障警察」的時候，那一種「眾人皆醉我
獨醒」的荒謬與自我安慰口吻，角色在二句歌詞間互換；一個是被獵巫一個是獵巫，但其
實都是一樣的也是同一個角色。總之依照前文推敲，完整我歌詞釋義的邏輯啦。
何況，歌詞不少地方也沒有照字面翻譯，我也不知道到底是文藝詠嘆新詩版本的超譯，還
是我這樣歸納去推敲超譯...但藍色窗簾是毋庸置疑的XD
最近又發生華山失蹤女子遭到殺人分屍，然後犯人臉書湧入大票「業障警察」，是很感慨
啊。
