根據英國獨立報(Independent)報導，引用美國University of Rochester研究發現，聰明人傾向於愛罵髒話，能在短時間內說出最多髒話的人智商明顯勝出，而且在言談間善用髒話來傳達情緒，代表著有更大的修辭能力。
英國基爾大學University of Keele.的心理學家也曾進行相關測試，發現在健身過程中使用髒話，相對於用中性平和的詞彙來表達感受，粗魯的用詞會有著顯著的改善效果。
負責人Richard Stephens博士表示：「罵髒話能使人更能忍受疼痛，可能原因是這會刺激身體的交感神經系統。」另有報導補充，罵人可以增加人們的攻擊性或分散注意力、以降低對疼痛的敏感度。
不過在問候對方的祖宗十八代時還是弄清楚一點比較好，免得自己連冒犯到誰都搞不清楚就被罰錢，勢必會更想再追訴到當事人的更上幾代。
溫馨提醒，大過年還是不要亂罵人比較好。

事緣監警會發表報告前跳船的海外專家之一，英國的Clifford Stott教授，原本聲稱會在6月9號發表自己的報告，可惜未能履行諾言。
我在上述文章中預計，報告將會在校方龐大壓力下草草收場，當然，同日不少媒體指Clifford Stott教授決定推遲至7月發表報告（附Now新聞截圖）。
今天，8月已經過了一半，我仍未看到相關報告....
或者，讓我介紹一下Clifford Stott教授任教的英國基爾大學（Keele University）。
這家大學排名英國前50，在中國十多個省市設有聯絡代表，大學的網頁介紹片段，附有簡體中文字幕（沒有西班牙文沒有法文沒有韓日文），強調校園生活種族共融，特別提到會「慶祝中國新年」....
說句客套話，Clifford Stott教授可能只因技術問題再一次押後。
