Friend, the profuse favor of God and good opportunities are in the now! Now is the acceptable time, the time of salvation.
So if we are constantly worrying about the past or the future (outside of the now), it is pointless as there is no favor, help, or blessing there. If you’re living in the past, filled with regrets, there is no favor there. If you're worried about the future, there is no favor there either because you are squandering your “now” moments. Live in the present because this is where God’s favor abounds!

"Rest is not inactivity but an inward posture of receiving from Jesus!"
Have you been living life at a frantic pace, with your thoughts pulled in a million directions by worries about your future or regrets about your past? Friend, the Lord wants you to slow down and enjoy the present—because this is where His favor, blessings, and opportunities abound.
In today’s sermon, we learned in Hebrews 4 that the promised land for the believer is rest, and the only labor left for us to do is labor to enter into rest. Because our Lord Jesus has already secured every provision we need for lives at the cross, today we can trust Him and rest in all He has done.
Many times, this is easier said than done (that is why entering into rest is called a “labor”!). How do we labor to enter into rest when the worries of life start pulling us in many different directions and we can’t seem to silence the stressful thoughts in our heads?
This week, take time to do the one thing needful—listen to God’s Word. Whether it is before you start your day or when you are on your commute to work, listen to sermons that remind you of how much God loves you and all that He has accomplished for you at the cross. Replace your thoughts of worry with thoughts of His supply. As you focus your thoughts on His finished work and how complete you are in Him, you are guarding your heart from the worries of life. And out of the good treasure of your heart will you bring forth good things (Matt. 12:35)!

Hạnh phúc là an lạc, không có an thì không có lạc, an trong thân và trong tâm. Nếu con người chứa chất quá nhiều sự căng thẳng, thân không an thì tâm làm sao an được? Trong khi đó tâm có những cảm giác, cảm xúc như giận hờn, tuyệt vọng, ganh tị, nếu không có phương pháp cụ thể thì làm sao nhận diện và chuyển hóa được những bất an của tâm?”
Quá khứ cho bạn nhiều bài học, nhưng hiện tại mới là nơi bạn đang sống!
Sống ở đây, bây giờ không có nghĩa là bạn không bao giờ nhớ lại quá khứ hay không có trách nhiệm với tương lai. Tuệ giác của đạo Phật là mình có thể sống an lạc và hạnh phúc trong giây phút hiện tại (hiện pháp lạc trú: Living happily in the present moment).”
