Maintaining a healthy eating habit is important. Beside practice a healthy diet, drink plenty of water, we need to consent the ingredients of our food such as not too salty, too sour or too sweet. I use to hear my mum says, once a while we need to take sweet stuff to increase our energy. Does her statement correct? Yes, it is true but how many gram we consume in our body? Taking too much sugar will lead to diabetes, obesity or even increase heart disease. Now I choose natural bread spread that made using palm sugar (Gula apom). Common facts we tend to hear about Brown Rice VS White Rice. Are they true?!
1) Brown rice is low in Glycemic Index & white rice is high in GI.
2) Brown rice is higher in fibre & protein compared to white rice.
3) Brown rice takes much longer to digest compared to white rice.
4) Brown rice is more nutrient-dense than white rice.
