This is a very memorable adventure with 12 of my friends, we hiked Mt Kinabalu during an unfavourable condition - the extreme weather which was danger level 3. We were just 100m away from the summit, but our guide told us we need to turn back now, due to the extreme weather. We were fortunate to hike till that far that day, and being able to see the summit before our eyes, it is truly a blessed moment.
We have learned a lot about perseverance, endurance and positive mindset throughout the hike. It might seemed to be just 8.72km, however we need to bring into consideration the weight we are carrying during our hike, the weather, the air getting thinner, the wind... it is amazing how our body can adapt to the environment, indeed our God is marvellous...
