"พ่อเลี้ยง-แม่แท้ๆ"มั่วสุมเสพยา ลูกวัย 2 ขวบร้อง โดนกระทืบเสียชีวิต
พ.ต.อ.สำราญ อุชุภาพ ผกก.สภ.กะปาง อ.ทุ่งสง จ.นครศรีธรรมราช พร้อมกำลังชุดสืบสวนจับกุมตัว นายเขียว (นามสมมุติ) อายุ 37 ปี ในข้อหาทำร้ายร่างกายผู้อื่นจนถึงแก่ความตายและเสพยาเสพติดมาสอบปากคำ หลังจับกุมตัวได้ที่บ้านพักพร้อมกับนางร่าน (นามสมมุติ) อายุ 32 ปี ภรรยา ซึ่งถูกดำเนินคดีเสพยาเสพติดด้วยเช่นกัน
พ.ต.อ.สำราญ อุชุภาพ ผกก.สภ.กะปาง เปิดเผยว่าสืบเนื่องจากวันที่ 4 ก.ย.ที่ผ่านมา พบศพ ด.ช.เอก (นามสมมุติ) วัย 2 ขวบ 4 เดือน เสียชีวิตภายในบ้านพักสภาพศพมีรอยช้ำที่ศีรษะ ขาหักทั้ง 2 ข้าง ซี่โครงด้านขวาหัก 1 ซี่ และไหปลาร้าหัก หลังส่งชันสูตรแพทย์ระบุสาเหตุการเสียชีวิตมาจากการถูกทำร้าย เจ้าหน้าที่จึงได้รวบรวมหลักฐานซึ่งเชื่อได้ว่านายเขียว ซึ่งเป็นพ่อเลี้ยงของ ด.ช.เอก เป็นผู้ก่อเหตุ ก่อนจับกุมตัวมาดำเนินคดีและจับกุมตัวนางร่าน แม่แท้ ๆ มาสอบสวนปากคำ ก่อนจะตรวจปัสสาวะของนายเขียว และนางร่าน ปรากฏว่ามีสารเสพติดในกระแสเลือด ในเบื้องต้นจึงแจ้งข้อหาเสพยาเสพติดให้โทษประเภทที่ 1 โดยผิดกฎหมาย เพิ่มอีก 1 ข้อหา
จากการสอบปากคำนายเขียวและนางร่าน ทั้งคู่ยังไม่ยอมปริปากสารภาพว่าใครลงมือทำร้ายร่างกาย ด.ช.เอก แต่ตำรวจเชื่อมั่นในพยานหลักฐาน โดยเบื้องต้นสันนิษฐานว่าสาเหตุน่าจะมาจาก นายเขียวและนางร่าน ชวนกันเสพยาเสพติดและอยู่ในอาการมึนเมา
ในขณะที่ ด.ช.เอก บุตรชาย อาจจะหิวจึงร้องงอแง จนนายเขียว เกิดความรำคาญ ด้วยความมึนเมาจึงลงมือทำร้าย ด.ช.เอก อย่างรุนแรงและโหดร้ายทารุณ จนเสียชีวิตคาที่ ซึ่งเจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจได้คุมตัวทั้ง 2 คน ไปฝากขังต่อศาลจังหวัดทุ่งสงต่อไป ส่วน ศพ ด.ช.เอก ทางญาติ ๆได้มารับไปจัดการตามประเพณีแล้ว.
