【NoC:解決資料傳輸的高頻寬需求】
在摩爾定律的推動下,積體電路製程取得了高速發展,單位面積上的電晶體數量不斷增加。系統單晶片 (System-on-Chip, SoC) 具有集成度高、功耗低、成本低等優勢,已經成為大型積體電路系統設計的主流方向,解決了通訊、圖像、運算、消費電子等領域的眾多挑戰性的難題。隨著片上系統 SoC 的應用需求越來越豐富,SoC 需要集成越來越多的不同應用的 IP。此外,片上多核系統 MPSoC (MultiProcessor-System-onChip) 也已經成為必然的發展趨勢。
隨著 SoC 的高度集成以及 MPSoC 的高速發展,對片上通訊提出了更高的要求。片上網路技術 (Network-on-Chip,NoC) 在這個時候也得到了極大的應用,它本質上就是提供一種解決晶片內不同 IP 或者不同核心之間資料傳輸的片上通訊方案。NoC 從發明至今已有 20 多年的歷史,在 SoC 中已經有了廣泛的應用。針對片上網路高頻寬、低延遲的特性,主流 FPGA 公司也開始考慮將 NoC 用於高端 FPGA 中來解決資料傳輸的高頻寬需求。

Abstract:
Traffic Engineering (TE) is one of important network features for Software-Defined Networking (SDN) with an aim to help Internet Service Providers (ISPs) optimize network performance and resource utilization by configuring the routing across their backbone networks. Although TE solutions can achieve the optimal or near-optimal performance by rerouting as many flows as possible, they do not usually consider the negative impact, such as packet out of order, when frequently rerouting flows in the network. To mitigate the impact of network disturbance, one promising TE solution is forwarding the majority of traffic flows using Equal-Cost Multi-Path (ECMP) and selectively rerouting a few critical flows using SDN to balance link utilization of the network. However, critical flow rerouting is not trivial because the solution space for critical flow selection is immense. Moreover, it is impossible to design a heuristic algorithm for this problem based on fixed and simple rules, since rule-based heuristics are unable to adapt to the changes of the traffic matrix and network dynamics. In this talk, we describe a Reinforcement Learning (RL)-based scheme, called CFR-RL, that learns a policy to select critical flows for each given traffic matrix automatically. It then reroutes these selected critical flows to balance link utilization of the network by formulating and solving a simple Linear Programming (LP) problem. Extensive evaluations show that CFR-RL outperforms the best heuristic by 7.4% - 12.2% and reroutes only 10% - 21.3% of total traffic.
Biography:
H. Jonathan Chao is Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at NYU, where he joined in January 1992. He is currently Director of High-Speed Networking Lab. He was Head of ECE Department from 2004-2014. He has been doing research in the areas of software defined networking, network function virtualization, datacenter networks, packet processing and switching, network security, and machine learning for networking. He holds 63 patents and has published more than 265 journal and conference papers. During 2000–2001, he was Co-Founder and CTO of Coree Networks, NJ, where he led a team to implement a multi-terabit router with carrier-class reliability. From 1985 to 1992, he was a Member of Technical Staff at Bellcore, where he was involved in network architecture designs and ASIC implementations, such as the world’s first SONET-like Framer chip, ATM Layer chip, Sequencer chip (the first chip handling packet scheduling), and ATM switch chip. He is a Fellow of National Academy of Inventors (NAI) for “having demonstrated a highly prolific spirit of innovation in creating or facilitating outstanding inventions that have made a tangible impact on quality of life, economic development, and the welfare of society.” He is a Fellow of the IEEE for his contributions to the architecture and application of VLSI circuits in high-speed packet networks. He received Bellcore Excellence Award in 1987. He is a co-recipient of the 2001 Best Paper Award from the IEEE Transaction on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology. He coauthored three networking books. He worked for Telecommunication Lab in Taiwan from 1977 to 1981. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in electronics engineering from National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan, in 1977 and 1980, respectively, and his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from The Ohio State University in 1985.

ラズベリーとチョコのチーズケーキ
8人分
材料:
グラムクラッカー 150g
塩 少々
ココナッツオイル 大さじ5(土台用)
冷凍ラズベリー(解凍しておく) 330g
ラズベリー(飾りつけ用) 150 g
ダークチョコレート 130g
ココナッツオイル 小さじ2(チョコ生地用)
水切りヨーグルト 980g
卵 大3個
バニラエクストラクト 小さじ2
砂糖 100g
コーンスターチ 大さじ2
ココナッツオイル 小さじ4
削ったチョコレート 適量(飾りつけ用)
作り方:
1.オーブンを180度に余熱しておく。20cmの型にココナッツオイルを塗る
2.グラムクラッカーと塩をフードプロセッサーに入れて砕く
3.(2)をボウルに移し、ココナッツオイル(大さじ5)を加えて混ぜる。
4.グラスの底を使って(3)を型の底に押し固め、オーブンで10分焼く。きつね色になったらオーブンから型を取り出して冷ます。再度オーブンを180℃に予熱しておく。
5.解凍したラズベリーをフードプロセッサーにかける。ザルなどでこして種を取り除き、ボウルに入れる。飾りつけ用に40g分を絞り出し容器に移しておく。
6.耐熱ボウルにチョコレートとココナッツオイル(小さじ2)を入れ、電子レンジで温める。完全に溶けて滑らかになるまで、30秒ごとに取り出して混ぜる。
7.フードプロセッサーに水切りヨーグルト、卵、バニラエクストラクト、砂糖、コーンスターチを入れ、滑らかになるまで20秒ほどブレンドする
8.(7) の生地を(5)と(6)、新しいボウルに3等分する。(6)以外のボウルに、ココナッツオイル小さじ2ずつを入れ、それぞれ混ぜる
9.チョコレート生地を型に流し込み、表面をヘラで平らにする。10分冷凍する
10.バニラ生地をチョコレート生地の上に流し、更に10分冷凍する。
11.最後にラズベリー生地を流し込み、ヘラで平らにする。絞り出し容器に入れた飾りつけ用のラズベリーで水玉模様を作り、つまようじでマーブル状にする。
12.水漏れ防止のために型の底にアルミホイルを敷いて、大きめの耐熱皿に入れる。耐熱皿に、2.5cmほどお湯を注ぐ
13.オーブンで35分焼く。縁はきつね色、中心部は揺れるくらいで取り出す。(表面が茶色く焼けすぎないように、必要に応じてアルミホイルをかぶせる。)型を耐熱皿から取り出す。
14.(13)を冷蔵庫に入れて3~4時間、または一晩冷やす。
15.型から取り出し、ラズベリーと削ったチョコレートで飾り付けをしたら、完成!
Chocolate Raspberry Greek Yogurt Cheesecake
for 8 servings
Ingredients:
5 tablespoons melted coconut oil, plus 4 teaspoons, divided, plus more for greasing
5 oz graham cracker(150 g)
1 pinch kosher salt
12 oz frozen raspberry(330 g), thawed
¾ cup dark chocolate chip(130 g)
2 teaspoons coconut oil, solid
32 oz greek yogurt(980 g)
3 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
½ cup organic sugar(100 g)
2 tablespoons cornstarch, sifted
warm water, for baking
6 oz fresh raspberries(150 g), for garnish
chocolate shaving, for garnish
Preparation:
1.Preheat the oven to 350˚F (180˚C). Grease an 8-inch (20 cm) springform pan with melted coconut oil.
2.Add the graham crackers and salt to food processor and process until completely broken down with a sand-like texture.
3.Transfer the graham cracker crumbs to a medium bowl and add 5 tablespoons melted coconut oil. Stir to combine. The mixture should hold together when pressed between 2 fingers
4.Using the bottom of a drinking glass, press the crust into the bottom of the prepared springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool. Leave the oven on
5.Add the thawed frozen raspberries to a food processor and blend for 15 seconds, until smooth. Strain the raspberry puree through a fine-mesh sieve into a medium bowl and discard the seeds. Transfer ⅓ cup (40 grams) to a squeeze bottle to use for garnish and set the bottle and bowl aside.
6.In a medium microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate and solid coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted and smooth. Set aside
7.In a clean food processor, combine the yogurt, eggs, vanilla, sugar, and cornstarch. Process until smooth, about 20 seconds.
8.Add 1½ cups (365 grams) of the yogurt mixture to a medium bowl. Add another 1½ cups (365 grams ) to the bowl with the melted chocolate and the remaining 1½ cups (365 grams) to the bowl with the raspberry puree. Add 2 teaspoons of melted coconut oil to the bowl with the plain yogurt mixture and the remaining 2 teaspoons melted coconut oil to the bowl with the raspberry puree. Stir each bowl to combine.
9.To assemble the cheesecake, pour the chocolate layer over the graham cracker crust and smooth the top with a spatula. Freeze for 10 minutes
10.Pour the vanilla layer over the chocolate layer and smooth the top with a spatula. Freeze for another 10 minutes.
11.Pour the raspberry layer on top of the vanilla layer and smooth with a spatula. Squeeze a few dots of the reserved raspberry puree on top and use a toothpick to swirl the puree in a decorative pattern.
12.Wrap the bottom of the pan tightly with foil and place in a high-walled baking dish. Pour about 1 inch (2 ½ centimeters) of warm water into the baking dish.
13.Bake the cheesecake for 35 minutes, until the edges are set but the center still jiggles slightly. If the top begins to brown, lightly cover with foil for the remaining bake time. Remove from the oven and carefully remove the springform pan from the water bath.
14.Cool the cheesecake completely in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours, or overnight.
15.When ready to serve, release the springform. Top the cheesecake with fresh raspberries, chocolate shavings, and raspberry puree.
16.Enjoy!

なすのチョコブラウニー

材料
なす (皮をむき、切っておく) 大1本 (約450g)
セミスイートチョコレートチップ 225g + 適量 (味付け用)
無糖チョコレート (細かく刻んでおく) 245g
メープルシロップ 大さじ6
バニラエクストラクト 小さじ1
卵 大3個
アーモンドパウダー (超微粒) 1 カップ (95g)
ココアパウダー (オランダ製法) ¼カップ(30g)
粗塩 小さじ1
作り方
1.オーブンを180˚Cに予熱しておく。
2.なすは皮をむき、縦半分に切る。種をすくい取り、さらに縦半分に切り、1センチほどの厚さに切る。お湯を張った大きな鍋にセットした蒸し器に移し、蓋をしてなすが柔らかくなるまで20分ほど蒸す。
3.蒸したなすをフードプロセッサーのボウルに移し、セミスイートチョコチップ110g、無糖チョコレート、メープルシロップ、バニラエクストラクトを加え、なすの熱でチョコレートを溶かす。必要に応じてボウルの側面をこすり落とし、滑らかになるまで、2〜3分間高速でブレンドする。
4.中型のボウルに卵を入れて泡立て、アーモンドパウダー、ココアパウダー、塩を加えて混ぜ合わせる。(3)を加え、ゴムベラで混ぜ合わせる。残りのセミスイートチョコチップを入れて混ぜる。
油を塗った正方形(20センチ)の耐熱皿に生地を移し、表面を滑らかにする。お好みでチョコチップをのせる。
5.オーブンで35分焼く。ブラウニーの中心部につまようじをさし、生地が付かないことを確認する。
6.20分ほど冷ましてスライスしたら、完成!

1 lb eggplant, peeled and cut into large pieces
8 oz semisweet chocolate chip(225 g), divided, plus more to taste
2 oz unsweetened chocolate(45 g), chopped
6 tablespoons maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 large eggs
1 cup superfine almond flour(95 g)
¼ cup dutch processed cocoa powder(30 g)
Preparation
1.Preheat the oven to 350˚F (180˚C).
2.Peel the eggplant, then cut in half lengthwise. Scoop out the seeds, then chop into large pieces. Transfer to a steamer basket set over a large pot of simmering water, cover, and steam for 20 minutes, until the eggplant is very soft.
3.Transfer the hot eggplant to the bowl of the food processor with 4 ounces (110 g) of semisweet chocolate chips, the unsweetened chocolate, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. The heat from the eggplant will melt the chocolate. Blend on high speed for 2-3 minutes, until very smooth, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
4.In a medium bowl, beat the eggs, then add the almond flour, cocoa powder, and salt, and whisk to combine. Add the eggplant chocolate mixture and fold with a rubber spatula to combine. Fold in the remaining semisweet chocolate chips.
5.Transfer the batter to a greased 8-inch (20-cm) square baking dish and smooth the top. Top with more chocolate chips, if desired.
6.Bake for 35 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center of the brownies comes out clean.
7.Let cool for 20 minutes before slicing.
