Opening God-Made Doors with the Key of David
““To the angel of the assembly in Philadelphia write: “He who is holy, he who is true, he who has the key of David, he who opens and no one can shut, and who shuts and no one opens, says these things: “I know your works (behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut), that you have a little power, and kept my word, and didn’t deny my name.” (Revelation 3:7-8 WEB)
King Nebuchadnezzar had a dream and he didn’t tell anyone the contents of the dream.
Despite the secrecy, Daniel was able to tell the king exactly what he dreamt, and interpret the meaning of the dream!
This miraculous occurrence can only be by God, for who can peer into a person’s mind to see what they dreamt?
“The king answered Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, Are you able to make known to me the dream which I have seen, and its interpretation? Daniel answered before the king, and said, The secret which the king has demanded can neither wise men, enchanters, magicians, nor soothsayers, show to the king; but there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and he has made known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Your dream, and the visions of your head on your bed, are these...The king answered to Daniel, and said, Of a truth your God is the God of gods, and the Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, since you have been able to reveal this secret.” (Daniel 2:26-28, 47 WEB)
Nebuchadnezzar’s dream was given to him by God. And only God could give Daniel knowledge about the contents of the dream and to understand the dream.
The dream was a door made by God, and the interpretation was a key from God, given to Daniel only.
Repeat this after me: Some locked doors have no man-made keys. Only the One who holds the Key of David can open them for me.
Jesus can make a door just for you, and place the key firmly in your hands.
Remember to ask Him, just like Daniel asked Him for the interpretation.
“Daniel went in, and desired of the king that he would appoint him a time, and he would show the king the interpretation. Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions: that they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his companions should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. Then was the secret revealed to Daniel in a vision of the night. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven. Daniel answered, Blessed be the name of God forever and ever; for wisdom and might are his. He changes the times and the seasons; he removes kings, and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise, and knowledge to those who have understanding; he reveals the deep and secret things; he knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him. I thank you, and praise you, you God of my fathers, who have given me wisdom and might, and have now made known to me what we desired of you; for you have made known to us the king’s matter.” (Daniel 2:16-23 WEB)
When God changes the time and season, you need fresh wisdom, knowledge and understanding from Him to triumph in the new territory.
He removes wicked kings and sets up new ones that please Him. A change of time and season can mean a removal of enemies in your life and a promotion for you.
Believe and receive this: the Lord will place you in the right place at the right time, and give you the key to open and walk through that door for your breakthrough!

More Prosperous Future For Our Families
by Former Vice President Joseph Biden for World Journal
These are tough times. Our country is at a crossroads, facing a pandemic, a recession, and an election that will decide our futures for a very long time.
This year, we've seen the best of America carry us forward: heroic doctors, nurses, grocers, restaurant owners, essential workers–including so many Asian Americans.
But we've also seen the worst: acts of hate against Asian Americans wrongly blamed for COVID-19, spurred on, in part, by hateful rhetoric from President Trump. They've been screamed at, spit on, and assaulted. Homes, businesses, and cars vandalized with slurs. Small children stabbed. An 89-year-old grandmother set on fire amid this rising culture of hate.
This is not who we are.
For nearly two centuries, Asian Americans have made our country strong–from the gold miners and railroad and factory workers who helped to power our rise; to the scientists, architects, artists, and entrepreneurs who are helping to drive us forward now. For years, their courage, sacrifices, and success have powered the American Dream and helped America stand as a beacon of freedom and hope to the world.
President Trump doesn't get that. He has led an assault on our values as a nation of immigrants, even tearing thousands of children from their parents' arms at our border. Hate crimes against people are at a 16-year-high, even before this pandemic. And now, to deflect blame for his failure to protect our nation from this crisis, he insists on calling COVID-19 the "China virus," no matter how many thousands of reported racist incidents against Asian Americans it encourages.
Words matter – and a president's words matter even more. As President, I'll defend the American Dream for everyone, so every hardworking family has the same fair shot at prosperity and a better future. I'll stand against racism in every form, directing the Justice Department to prioritize hate crimes, and working to heal the wounds of hatred and division, not fan the flames.
Donald Trump knew how deadly COVID-19 was back in January and did nothing to stop it. Now, more than 220,000 Americans are dead. Some 30 million have lost jobs, hours, wages. One in five small businesses have shut down. Trump's failed leadership has tanked our economy – and the longer he's president, the longer it'll take to get it fully up and running again.
We're eight months in, but Trump still has no plan. I do.
It starts with taking responsibility and doing the hard work to control this pandemic and get our lives back. I'll implement the plan I've laid out since March to beat COVID-19. I'll listen to scientists and experts; protect our families; and make testing, treatment, and any eventual vaccine free and available to everyone.
I'll get right to work building our economy back better – getting real relief out to millions of hard-hit small businesses. They're the lifeblood of our communities – but Trump's corrupt recovery passed them by, funneling funds to big corporations instead. Some 75% of Asian-owned small businesses weren't expected to get any first-round stimulus funds at all. It's wrong. I've called for ensuring small businesses with less than 50 employees get new relief funds. And I'll boost their long-term access to credit and capital, and work to ease the language barriers that can hold back immigrant entrepreneurs.
Through it all, my economic recovery plan will reward work, not just wealth, creating millions of good paying jobs of the future. Independent economists at Moody's found that my plan creates 7 million more jobs – and $1 trillion more in economic growth – than President Trump's would. And I won't raise taxes on anyone earning less than $400,000 a year – period. Instead, I'll make sure the super wealthy and big corporations finally pay their fair share.
I've fought my whole career for working and middle class families – so many of them hard-working immigrants who came to America in search of a better life. I'll help parents afford a quality education for their kids, boosting teacher pay and making public college free for most families. I'll make it easier to care for aging parents, and make health care more affordable. Trump is in court right now trying to repeal the Affordable Care Act, stripping tens of millions of people of health coverage in the middle of a deadly pandemic. It makes no sense.
Meanwhile, COVID-19 is proof that the United States can't isolate itself from the world. We have to work with other nations to meet global challenges that impact us all, starting by rebuilding our relationships with our closest partners. We're a Pacific power, and we'll stand with friends and allies to advance our shared prosperity, security, and values in the Asia-Pacific region. That includes deepening our ties with Taiwan, a leading democracy, major economy, technology powerhouse – and a shining example of how an open society can effectively contain COVID-19. And our approach to China will focus on boosting American competitiveness, revitalizing our strengths at home, and renewing our alliances and leadership abroad. We'll work to collaborate with China when it's in our interest, including on public health and climate change.
America has always led the world not only with the example of our power, but the power of our example. To truly do that again, we also have to fix our broken immigration system, keeping families together and ensuring the United States continues to draw the world's best and brightest.
I'm running to build America back better, as a country of opportunity, unity, and new beginnings. A place made strong by generations of immigrants. A place where everyone has a voice and every vote counts. I'll lead on these issues, and more importantly, I'll listen. So please make sure you get your vote in today. Together we'll restore the soul of this nation we love.

If you often take me around here, I believe that I have tried this restaurant and even Muslim food is not very popular, but with the taste of Thai people make this restaurant full of memories. People who stay some love for long time 🥰
In the day that everything is growing quickly. The shop has changed to almost never see the same person. But this shop is still unique. The chair is nine years old. Many people have been sitting and the same atmosphere in this shop for a long time. Beyond what many people think it's time to permanently shut down. Today we had a chance to talk to ′′ Mr. Manat Khawong ′′ the last generation of the shop's successor with many questions in our hearts.
.
′′ Seriously, our shop has been lost for 50 years, but our auntie said it was ′′ if the aunt is still here, don't close this shop. It's a loss. Whatever it is, I will pay all of them. ' So we tried to help each other to stop the shop. This is because my aunt said that aunt loves this restaurant so much. Aunt has no kids, no family. This shop is my family. Aunt is happy when customers visit and spread delicious Islamic food for Thai people to try to eat until the last two months. Aunt is sick. It's heavy. I have been holding on to the hospital for 2 months until my aunt passed away peacefully. When we paid tax and rent bills for 2 hundred thousand baht. We can't continue to fight because of the customer during this period. I've been quiet. So we talked about if we still sell here, we can't continue. We decided to close this shop permanently so that we couldn't get into chronic debt
.
'Even though I leave, may the food and shop I try to keep in memory of someone.'
.
The strong willed of the auntie who has dedicated her whole life to keeping this shop alive ✨
.
′′ When we really decided to close, our family would close quietly, but we thought that aunt was dedicated to this restaurant and we didn't know when we would have a chance to come back to cook for people to eat. Everything could be the last time we could get. I want to do my best. At least my shop is still in memory of someone like my aunt always wanted. So we announced that we will close permanently in the end of August. There is a foreigner who comes to Thailand. Haha. Yesterday he took photos and interviewed both of us and the people in the shop. He spent all day being here. We asked him what he was going to do. He said he wanted to save it for posterity to know that there was a very delicious restaurant here. If one day, we asked him what he Whoever comes here will be inspired to make this shop as good as this shop does. I hear this. It's refreshing that everything my aunt tried is not wasted
.
Spices, spices and vibrant smell of a restaurant that hasn't happened for many years. Today, many people are back here again. Taste food in full memory. We noticed around the shop that every table would have to have ′′ beef soup ′′ (80) Baht) Place the highlight in the middle of the table. This bowl boils the meat until it's soft. There is a tendon to chew. Spicy and spicy soup to the heart 👍
.
Another menu that we have tried is ′′ Goat Biryani ′′ (190 Baht). Goat meat that leads to the process of cooking until it's soft to the rice with spices and ′′ Chicken Curry ′′ (50 Baht) serving. It's good to come. There is a soft chicken drumstick. One piece of melted beef with oil absorbing spices. Let's say that these 3 menu shouldn't be missed. 😋
.

Allen Iverson would almost always rather drive to the basket than settle for a jumper.
Seattle's porous defense gave him ample opportunity to dart down the lane for all the easy baskets he wanted.
Iverson scored 41 points, John Salmons had 18 and Kyle Korver 17 to lead the Philadelphia 76ers over the SuperSonics 107-98 on Monday night.
Although Iverson said he's still slightly bothered by his right ankle, which he sprained Dec. 27 at Denver, it hardly showed as he had one of his top shooting nights of the season.
"It's getting a lot better with treatment and everything, and I'm able to push off it like I want to," Iverson said. "Once it gets loose, I'm able to move around like I want to. I try to get to the basket."
Certainly returning home provided an immediate fix for the slumping Sixers. When they left for a 15-day, seven-game trip, they were in first place in the Atlantic Division; they returned four games back in the division race after a 2-5 mark.
"If we closed games out better, we'd have a lot more wins," Iverson said. "I honesty feel like we gave away eight games this season, games we should have won."
The Sonics have been just as bad, finishing 1-4 on a trip that saw them fire Bob Weiss and replace the coach with Bob Hill.
Hill promised a quicker pace and improvement on defense as ways to turn around Seattle's disappointing season.
Seattle's league-worst defense still needs work.
Iverson scored 40-plus points for the eighth time this season as he chases Kobe Bryant for the league scoring title. Iverson wasn't the only one getting open looks -- the Sixers shot 53 percent from the field, seven points higher than their average.
Chris Webber sat out with a lower back strain and was listed as day-to-day. Coach Maurice Cheeks was hopeful that rest would allow Webber to return for Wednesday's game against Utah.
Salmons started in Webber's place and hardly missed a beat on 7-for-9 shooting. Andre Iguodala had 16 points and Samuel Dalembert 11 to put all five starters in double digits.
"That's how you should play," Iverson said. "When you do share the ball, nine times out of 10, more positive results come of it."
Ray Allen led the Sonics with 27 points and Vladimir Radmanovic had 15 points and 12 rebounds.
The Sonics rallied from a 19-point deficit to pull within six late in the fourth quarter -- hardly surprising since only Seattle allows more points than the Sixers -- after 3-pointers by Allen and a couple of free throws from Rashard Lewis.
Korver, though, sank his fifth 3-pointer and Salmons added a 3 to get the lead back to nine. Stuck on 39 points for a while, Iverson sank two free throws to push him over 40 and give the Sixers a 106-95 lead.
"We took control of the game and shut them down," Dalembert said. "We controlled the tempo of the game and didn't really let them get back in."
Iverson scored nine points during a 19-5 run in the third quarter that gave the Sixers a 79-60 lead. Iverson usually drove through a lane that offered little resistance and little reason for the All-Star to resort to his usual banging and crashing all over the court.
Iverson went 6-for-8 in third for 18 points and the Sixers shot 68 percent in the quarter. Hill blamed fatigue from a long road trip for the Sonics going flat in the third.
"We played pretty well in the first half, then I'm sure our legs got tired," Hill said. "We wouldn't move and we weren't guarding. Away games are tough, but they have to find a way to fight fatigue. That was a winnable game."
With the easy looks, and a mid-range jumper that was on target, Iverson finished 15-for-25 from the floor and made 11 of 13 free throws.
Game notes
Korver hit a 3-pointer for the 26th straight game, the longest streak in the league. ... Sonics F Danny Fortson sat out with a sore left knee and C Vitaly Potapenko sat out with a lower back strain. ... Iverson was briefly shaken up when he was smacked in the face by Luke Ridnour while they went after a loose ball in the third quarter. ... Iverson has 67 career games with more than 40 points. ... The Sixers are 8-0 at home against the Western Conference.
