Another comparison.
Before we started, there are two things I want to make a little correction.
1. It’s Memento Luxe. Sorry about the misspelling.💧
2. Personally I prefer oil-based pigment ink pads, but it doesn’t mean all of the oil-based pigment ink pads are good for metal stamps. Also, there are some water-based pigment ink pads are good, all we have to do is to try them out and find out which one is your perfect one.
Here I tested 21 different ink pads,
Included oil-based, water-based, dye ink, pigment ink, etc.
Only on two different paper: super normal double A copy paper(right) and one side glazed kraft paper from our multipurpose paper pad(left).
I putted the name of the ink pads aside the pattern so you can easily find out which one also the photos of the ink pads for you to recognize them.
At least half of them are easy to purchase ( if I only show you something hard to find then it’s not a comparison, it’s called show off😂) and each of them presents different outcome.
I am too tired and a little bit out of words so let the photos speak for themself 🤣

在開始之前有兩件事：
1. 是Memento Luxe，之前拼錯啦，我對不起大家💧
2. 我個人雖然偏好油性顏料系印台，但不表示所有油性顏料系印台都很適合用在這裡，同樣的，有些水性顏料系印台也表現地相當好，我們就是蓋看看再找出最喜歡的那個囉～
這次翻箱倒櫃翻了21種印台出來比較，油性、水性、顏料系、染料系，各種。
紙只挑了兩種：無敵常見的Double A影印紙（右）和多用途便條本裡面的單光白牛皮紙（左）。
我把印台的名字寫在每個圖旁邊方便對照，印台照片也附上了比較好認識它們誰是誰。
至少有一半以上都還是蠻好買的，（只給看不好買的東西就不是比較了叫作炫耀😂）每一款印台都呈現不同的效果。
太累了有點詞窮，就看圖說故事吧🤣

In this post you can see still the same group of stamps and ink pads under the same sequence.
The paper I used here are our postage stamp paper pad(glossy side), 365 notebook, B610 carbonless receipt, and the stamp pad from Papier Platz.
Still, the smoother glossy side is better for you to bring out the fine sharpen lines.
There’s one particular point about these paper I showed you so far,
They all very smooth, which means without texture or grains.
Metal stamps have solid surface, they are like the stone stamps or wood stamps,
require a super smooth paper to carry out the details.
Under most circumstances, thinner paper would be better than a thick one, relatively.
It would be a great help if you use a stamping pad underneath it.
(The black one we attached to orders included two or more metal stamps)
It basically is a medium soft material that can help you with stamping.
You can find something similar in any regular stationery store, most of them are made by rubber.
If you can’t fine any, a pile of paper also works.
The rule 101 is also still the same, always choose the oil-based pigment stamp pad.
Personally I love these ink pads except VersaFine.😂
All the StazOns you can choose just one if you want to try it.
These StazOns are for a lot of different surfaces such as plastic, metal, glossy paper and more.
If I really have to choose only one, I’ll just take the latest StazOn-pigment.
It works on all kinds of paper, convenient, easy to use and hopefully this version won’t dry out too soon.🤣
The only problem of StazOn-pigment is not too many color to choose.

這篇用到的紙張有我們家自產的郵票紙本（亮面），365筆記本，小行星家的無碳複寫紙（上面那張）以及來自Papier Platz的蓋章本。
一樣，依然是亮面能夠最好地呈現金屬印章細緻銳利的線條，
目前到現在分享的紙張有一個最大的共通點，它們都很光滑，換句話說就是沒有紋理。
金屬印章是非常堅硬的表面，跟石頭章和某些木頭章一樣，它們都需要平滑的紙張才能帶出那些細線，大部分的狀況下薄紙會比厚紙好些但不是絕對。
蓋章墊是金屬印章的好捧油，
（就是我們送的的黑黑的那片）
這個東西簡單來說就是一個中等軟硬的表面幫助你蓋印，
一般文具店就可以找到類似的東西，真的都沒有，一疊廢紙也可以代替。
當然，請永遠選擇油性顏料系印台。
這些印台我都很愛，除了VeraaFine😂
至於StazOn們如果想試試可以挑一個買就好。
這些StazOn們都可以蓋在各種材質上面，
真的只挑一個我會選最新的StazOn-pigment。
什麼紙都能蓋，方便簡單，只期望這個版本不要太快乾掉🤣
唯一的缺點就是顏色太少了啊。

The relationship between metal stamps, ink pads and paper. Part 2.
These paper are easy to find, very common in our daily life.
Cotton paper and three different fry paper.
Cotton paper is the most easy one to get,
You can find it from any regular stationery store or art supply store.(I mean,here, I don’t know about other places🤣)
Fry paper were from Daiso,
Guess you can find them from similar stores like 3 coins, i-color or dollar tree maybe? Anyway, some places like that.
I used a group of metal stamps with the ink pads from previous post to assemble my sequence here.
So you can compare the same combinations on different paper.
Basically these paper have two things in common which is thin, and two different surfaces:
Smooth side and rough side.
Two things to remember:
First, always the smoother side is the better option, “if” you like the pattern to be 100% clear and sharp.
I am not saying the rough side is not good, only depend on what kind of style you want.
Second, please choose oil-based pigment ink pads, trust me, you will feel painless to enjoy the time with metal stamps.
Different ink pads bring out different outcomes on different paper, choose whatever you prefer.
I like to use these paper due to their low prices and accessibility.
Of course, the point is they are all good in performing the details of the metal stamps.

這篇用到的紙都是日常生活很常見的東西，
棉紙和三種吸油紙。
棉紙是最簡單買的，各大連鎖文具店都找得到，美術社也有(我指的是我住的附近，其他地方我就不知道了🤣）
吸油紙是在大創購得，我猜其他類似的百元店應該都有，十元店應該也有。
我用同樣一組金屬印章搭配前一篇出現的印台們來組成我的比較順序，
比較清楚看得出來同樣組合在不同紙張上的差異。
基本上這些紙有個共同點：薄，都有光滑面和粗糙面。
請記得兩件事：
第一，光滑面會是比較好的選擇，「如果」你想要呈現非常清楚銳利的線條。
這不表示粗糙面就不好，單純依據你想要的結果來作挑選。
第二，請選用油性顏料系印台，相信我，絕對無痛上手。
不同的印台在不同的紙張上呈現出來的效果各式各樣，儘管選擇你想要的組合就可以了。
我蠻愛用這幾種紙除了它們很便宜又很好買之外，
主因當然是它們都可以很好地呈現金屬印章細緻的線條。
