廚房的地上擺著家裡拿上來的芭蕉，幾天沒注意，它的顏色已悄悄從青綠轉變為金黃。難得看到這麼漂亮的芭蕉，就該趁著最好吃的時候把它吃掉。剝了皮直接吃味道就很棒了，可是一下吃太多還是受不了，搞些變化來換個吃法。這時候，拿出前一陣子練習過的煎餅（pancake）做法，加上芭蕉做成表面有點焦焦的「芭蕉煎餅」。

Ingredients (serves 4)
1kg (2.2lb) beef
1 pineapple
3 stalks lemongrass
1 small onion
120ml (1/2 cup) rice/wine vinegar 5%
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp chicken stock (optional)
1 cucumber
1 plantain ( or Vietnamese green banana "chuoi chat" - optional)
1 green star fruit (optional)
Fresh herbs: mint, perilla, lettuce etc.
