被禁即棄塑膠包括：
塑膠袋(checkout bags)、吸管、攪拌棒、six-pack rings、餐具以及難回收的塑膠食物容器。
目標是2030年達到zero plastic waste(零塑棄)

為什麼要禁即棄塑膠？
塑膠污染自然環境，
充斥在河流、湖泊及海洋，
威脅野生生物。

即棄塑膠被禁的三個主因：
🔸對環境有害
🔸難以回收或成本高昂
🔸有現成的替代品

禁！為什麼不禁？
很多國家都有限塑令的時間表
香港？什麼都沒有！
還停留在鼓勵生產商良心發現不要生產那麼多
鼓勵建立實際用處其實不大的回收機制
(回收塑膠就是會一直的品質降級！)
花一堆錢換了更大的回收箱來給大家回收回收

環保署是沒有遠見還是什麼我真的不太知道啦！

The move is part of a larger effort by the nation to achieve zero plastic waste by 2030.

"Plastic pollution threatens our natural environment. It fills our rivers or lakes, and most particularly our oceans, choking the wildlife that live there," Canadian Environment Minister Jonathan Wilkinson said Wednesday in a news conference. "Canadians see the impact that pollution has from coast to coast to coast."

In addition, single-use plastics have three key characteristics that make them a target of the ban, according to Wilkinson.

"They are harmful in the environment, they are difficult or costly to recycle and there are readily available alternatives," he said.//

It breaks my heart to make a video like this, but pollution is a real problem and everyone should be educated to recycle, reuse, and ultimately refuse any single use materials (that includes common stuff like straws, disposable cups, plastic bottles, etc)

I visited this Indonesian UNESCO geopark back in July 2019.

Being in a UNESCO designated geopark, I didn't expect this amount of waste pollution. This was evident as the beach was polluted with fragmented styrofoams. The other areas of the geopark is also polluted with plastic wastes ranging from beverage bottle, plastic wrapper, tissue paper, cigarette box, among other stuff.

I published this video in hope to educate and raise awareness of a real, serious situation.
