Pak Sin Leng is a series of eight peaks by Tai Mei Tuk at the side of Plover Cove Reservoir that is named after the eight immortals from Taoism. With the peaks sandwiched between the Sin Kwu Fung at 511m and Shun Yeung Fung at 591m, it is an up and down journey with rewarding views. From the nearby Plover Cove Reservoir and Ma On Shan to the valley of northern New Territories to Shenzhen, it’s an unrivalled 360 degree view even as you go up and down the eight peaks.

The Devil's Fist is in one of the most remote corners in Hong Kong, at the end of Wong Chuck Kok Tsui (Bluff Head) that extends out from Plover Cove Reservoir. The hike spans over 30km and is known as '環湖出咀' in Chinese - which means 'around the lake and out the peninsular'.
The hike starts at Wu Kau Tang and ends at Tai Mei Tuk Dam and it took us just over 10 hours of hiking to complete!

Far from the crowds, nestled within the mountains of the New Territories lies an ancient Walled Village that few know even exists.
Today in Hong Kong, Plover Cove I began my hiking adventure to try discover the secret walled village of Hong Kong.
The New Territories are home to many old walled villages, a look back in time to see how Hong Kong once was. Now most the Hakka villages have been destroyed but here in Hong Kong, Plover Cove there is one Walled Village that is well preserved and the ultimate hidden gem of Hong Kong!
The hike to this ancient Hong Kong village will take you over the mountains of Hong Kong and along beautiful hiking trails in Plover Cove. Prepare to see vibrant Hong Kong forests and breath taking Hong Kong waterfalls.
From road trails to the mountain hiking trails, the adventure I took to get to the walled village was epic and I hope you enjoy the hiking vlog.
I started the day hiking through Hong Kong's dense nature park discovering a waterfall. Far off the beaten path and away from tourists this travel spot was perfect for nature lovers and travel photographers.
After this I hiked up the Hong Kong mountain trails to the Wu Kau Tang Fire Lookout, here you can get an amazing view of Hong Kong nature landscape.
I then walked to Lai Chi Wo Ancient Walled Village. This old Hakka village was a beautiful place and a very quiet travel destination great for hikers in Hong Kong.
