Moderna COVID-19 vaccine
Get your second shot 4 weeks (or 28 days) after your first.
You should get your second shot as close to the recommended 4-week interval as possible. However, your second dose may be given up to 6 weeks (42 days) after the first dose, if necessary. You should not get the second dose early. There is currently limited information on the effectiveness of receiving your second shot earlier than recommended or later than 6 weeks after the first shot.

SAGE recommends the use of the Moderna mRNA-1273 vaccine at a schedule of two doses (100 µg, 0.5 ml each) 28 days apart. If necessary, the interval between the doses may be extended to 42 days.
Studies have shown a high public health impact where the interval has been longer than that recommended by the EUL. Accordingly, countries facing a high incidence of COVID-19 combined with severe vaccine supply constraints could consider delaying the second dose up to 12 weeks in order to achieve a higher first dose coverage in high priority populations.
Compliance with the full schedule is recommended and the same product should be used for both doses.

Synopsis:
Thanks to the advancement of medical technology, most diseases can be cured or subsided. However, there are times that medical technology could only prolong one’s life but could not cure the terminal illness. Facing such situation, patients, family members, and medical staff can discuss whether to withhold or withdraw from life-sustaining treatments that may not help improve patients’ quality of life so that they can die peacefully. Professor Helen Chan, Associate Professor from The Nethersole School of Nursing and Professor Roger Chung, Assistant Professor of the School of Public Health and Primary Care of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, will share with us the concepts and values behind Advance Directive and Advance Care Planning in the third public seminar of the four-lecture series on life and death education organized by the School of Public Health and Primary Care, CUHK. These two health care options aim not only to reduce the pressure faced by patients’ family when making end-of-life healthcare decision, but also show respect to patients’ will.
Professor Helen Chan’s research interests focus on end-of-life care, gerontology as well as care ethics. She has conducted a number of research projects on promoting palliative and end-of-life care, especially advance care planning, among older adults and people with advanced progressive diseases.
Professor Roger Chung’s research aims to empirically inquire into the social determinants of health inequalities, as well as aging‐related issues on multimorbidity and long‐term/end‐of‐life care, and to utilize such evidence to inform health services and policy, domestically and beyond.

On August 31 in 2013 it was the first time I arrived to Taiwan. It's been exactly seven years! Sorry, I said it wrong! It's been 7 great years!! I cannot express how happy I am and even though at that time I wasn't really sure what I was going to do, coming to Taiwan was one of the best ideas in my life.
Because of that I decided to make a short video about Taiwan. This time it's not about places, it's not about vistas, neither about food. It's a bit different.
Since I have been here 7 years, I decided to share 7 things that I learnt in Taiwan.. and I think everybody in the world should learn as well.
The video is in English with Chinese subtitles. This way people who either Chinese and English can understand well! So please watch it to the end and make sure you answer the question at the end. Thanks a lot!

多個外國網上文章標題是: “why people in Asian countries wear masks...”
Surgical mask:
Cloth masks-
中國fashion week ‘smog couture’ 更用了最大型facemask走fashion show.
“Surgical masks are typically more useful to people who are already sick because it prevents them from spreading an infection to others”
“Small infection droplets cannot be filtered by the surgical masks” Hyo-Jick Choi, assistant to professor of chemical and materials engineering at the university of Alberta said.
“Surgical masks do not have the function to kill the virus,”
“That means wearing a mask with virus particles for too long could actually put you and others at risk”
“The world health privatization prioritizes several safety measures over wearing masks, washing your hands frequently, using and discarding tissues when you sneeze or cough, and maintaining a 3-foot distance from people.”

First, I'd like to state that I'm against 1. the challenge to donate structure, 2. the waste of water, and 3. ALS Association doing animal testing.
Raising awareness through creativity and fun is good, but it's becoming more of a contest and joke at times. It's a horrible disease and shouldn't be portrayed as anything like fun. My own father is a cancer survivor, if I were to see the disease in the social media this way, I would be f*ing pissed. Do the ends justify the means? How many celebs recorded the video and donated without putting much thought? How many of you have been watching those viral videos, had a good laugh, but not donating to any charity?
Therefore, I wouldn't be recording this video if I was not challenged by a fellow streamer friend. Hopefully you may get to understand ALS as a disease, like any other fundraising campaigns in need of public attention. I won't be naming anyone in particular, as I believe donations should NOT be a challenge or a hype. It's a selfless habit and one should take his own time to consider the causes that he cares most about.
Here are more information on different causes that you could help out:
ALS Association: http://alsa.pub30.convio.net/
Animal Rescue Team Taiwan: http://www.savedogs.org/english/
World Vision for children: http://www.worldvision.org/
Charity: Water: http://www.charitywater.org/
Sorry, I'm so serious.
May we all have a little more love for each other in this big big world.
