I’ve been wanting to share this secret for a while now. Let me say this, midi mapping is the only way you’ll get the most out of your gear. Plus it’ll make you stand out more as an artist. One thing I really want to touch on (since I have your attention) is beat jump. I feel like the beat jump feature in SDJ Pro is so underrated. It makes trick mixing a breeze and allows you to do jump cuts, something you’d only able to do if you placed your hits a little beforehand in your DAW. Some people will call this cheating, for whatever reason, but I call it innovation. Embrace technology, it’s here for you to use. Thank you Serato for allowing me to do this.
