This is our first day of ramadan during the MCO in Malaysia.
Isobel and Iman have fasted in previous months, but Iman has yet to complete a full month of fast and she is determined to do it this year!
At 3PM, admittedly, our spirits and energy was low -- probably a good thing this is a one off with the kids as I wanted to listen to their views on Ramadan before I shared the story of Aisha Siddiqa (ra) with them.
We highlighted a few paragraphs in the book. I am trying so hard to not just pique their interest to reading again ( the social distancing and online schooling has made their devices more accessible to them now which means, they aren't as keen in reading as before =(), but also to find out more about different Islamic leaders of yesteryears.
