Monday meal prep:
Sharing with you my beef lasagne recipe, which I recently did a live demo of on Facebook for @appliancesonlinesale using Brandt and De Dietrich appliances.
This recipe makes the sauces from scratch: Ragu and Bechamel ✌🏼
Make a big batch and freeze for lunches and dinners on days you want a fuss-free meal!
BEEF LASAGNA:
Ragu sauce:
1/2 no. Yellow Onion, diced
1 no. Carrot, diced
2 nos. Celery stalks, chopped
4 cloves Garlic, chopped
300gms Minced Beef
1tbsp Tomato Puree
400gms Plum Tomatoes in Tin
80ml Beef Stock
Dried Oregano
Salt
Pepper
Sugar
Bechamel Sauce:
25gms Unsalted Butter
25gms Plain Flour
300ml UHT Milk
60gms Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
30gms Parmesan Cheese, Grated
Pinch of ground nutmeg
6 lasagna sheets
Shredded Cheddar Cheese
METHOD:
1) To make Ragu Sauce, heat up saucepan and add olive oil. Brown the minced beef and allow juices to simmer.
2) Add in chopped garlic, onions, celery and carrots. Cook till soft.
3) Add in tomato puree, plum tomatoes, beef stock and bay leaf. Allow to simmer while stirring occasionally.
4) Season with salt, pepper and sugar to taste. Add in dried oregano and set aside.
5) To make Bechamel sauce, heat up saucepan and melt butter. Stir in flour and continue cooking.
6) Using a whisk, add in milk and stir to prevent lumps. Add in cheese, nutmeg and season to taste.
7) In a casserole or ramekin, layer sauces and lasagne sheets alternately. Top off with shredded cheese and bake at 180degrees Celsius for 30-45mins till golden brown.
Serve warm and enjoy!

Ragu may sound like an intimidating name for a dish. But fret not, it is an absolutely simple one-pot stew that everyone can make.
The main ingredient is beef chuck which is a tough and flavourful cut of beef, slow-cooked to perfection using San Remo sauces. We added sundried tomatoes, onions and a classic combination of celery and carrots for that subtle sweetness.
Finish off by serving it over San Remo Brown Rice Penne pasta and top with grated parmesan cheese!

Meatball Spaghetti Bolognese + Pesto Spaghetti
鴛鴦聖誕樹意粉
Recipe
Ingredients (Serves 4)
1 bottle Bolognese Pasta Sauce
2tbsp Basil Pesto Pasta Sauce
400g Spaghetti
1 pack Frozen Meatball
1 Red Bell Pepper
1 Green Bell Pepper
Parmesan Cheese
Method
1. Wash the bell peppers and cut into star shapes.
2. Bring a big pot of water to boil, add a pinch of salt and olive oil, then cook the spaghetti for 5 mins.
3. After the spaghetti is cooked, strain and rinse with cold water, then separate into two portions.
4. In a pan, add some oil and pan fry the meatballs for about 5 mins till golden.
5. Add Bolognese sauce, simmer under low heat for around 8 mins.
6. Add in the spaghetti, mix and make sure all the spaghetti is coated with sauce.
7. In another pan, add a little bit oil, then slightly fry the remaining spaghetti
8. Add pesto sauce, mix and make sure all the spaghetti is coated with sauce.
9. Swirl the spaghetti like Christmas tree shape.
10. Grate some Parmesan cheese on top of the spaghetti.
11. Lastly pierce the star shape bell pepper with toothpicks, then place on top of the spaghetti tree!
食譜
材料 (4人份)
蕃茄肉醬 1樽
意大利香草醬 2湯匙
意大利粉 400克
急凍肉丸 1包
紅燈籠椒 1個
綠燈籠椒 1個
巴馬臣芝士
做法
1. 將燈籠椒清洗乾淨,然後切成星星形狀,備用
2. 煲一大煲滾水,加入少許鹽和橄欖油,放入意粉煮5分鐘
3. 意粉煮好後,隔水過冷河,分成兩份
4. 在平底鑊內加少許油,放入急凍肉丸,煎大概5分鐘至外表呈金黃色
5. 加入蕃茄肉醬,用慢火煮大概8分鐘
6. 放入意粉,拌勻,確保所有意粉都能沾上醬汁
7. 在另一平底鑊加少許油,放入剩餘的意粉略炒
8. 加入香草醬,拌勻,確保所有意粉都能沾上醬汁
9. 將意粉卷成聖誕樹形狀便可上碟
10. 磨碎巴馬臣芝士,加在意粉上
11. 最後將星形燈籠椒用牙籤固定好,插在意粉上,便完成了

?NGUYÊN LIỆU?
- Phô mai Mozzarella 300g, dầu ăn
- Thịt lợn thăn 500g (5 khối thịt 100g), muối, tiêu, bột mì, trứng, bột chiên xù
- Sốt Ragu: dầu olive 3 thìa canh, thịt bò băm 300g, cà rốt 1/2 củ, hành tây 1 củ, cần tây băm 2 cây, sốt cà chua đậm đặc 100g, nước ninh rau củ 250ml, cà chua 400g, rượu vang trắng 120ml, lá nguyệt quế 5 lá, muối, tiêu
- Sốt Béchamel: bơ 30g, bột mì 30g, sữa 500ml, muối 1 thìa cà phê, tiêu
?CÁCH LÀM?
Làm sốt Ragu:
1. Cho 3 thìa canh dầu olive vào chảo, làm nóng dầu, cho 1 củ hành tây băm nhuyễn, 1/2 củ cà rốt băm nhuyễn, 2 cây cần tây băm nhuyễn vào và xào lên.
2. Khi hành tây chín thì cho 300g thịt bò băm vào xào.
3. Khi thịt chín thì cho 100g sốt cà chung đậm đặc vào xào, rồi cho 250ml nước ninh rau củ, 120ml rượu vang trắng, 400g cà chua vào. Nghiền cà chua rồi xào lên.
4. Cho 5 lá nguyệt quế, muối, tiêu vào và nấu chín.
Làm sốt Béchamel:
1. Cho 30g bơ vào chảo nấu chảy ra, sau đó cho 30g bột mì vào và đảo đều cho chín.
2. Sau đó chia nhỏ 500ml sữa rồi cho vào, sau đó cho 1 thìa cà phê muối, tiêu vào nêm nếm.
Xếp Lasagna:
1. Cho sốt Ragu vào đáy khay nướng, sau đó cho lần lượt thịt chiên xù, sốt Béchamel, sốt Ragu, thịt chiên xù, sốt Béchamel, sốt ragu lên, sau đó cho 300g phô mai Mozzarella vào rồi nướng khoảng 30 phút trong lò nhiệt độ 180 độ.
