Not all heroes wear capes — mothers are our everyday heroes, often putting families before selves. For more than a year now, mothers have had to deal with the disruptions brought about by COVID-19 and juggle multiple roles as caregivers, teachers and cooks plus their regular jobs.
This year’s celebrations will again be different, but I am sure that you will find ways to show appreciation for your mothers. Even as we celebrate, let us remember those who may not be able to do so, such as the nurses and other frontliners who continue to fight against COVID-19. Take heart, as your efforts are greatly appreciated!
Wishing a very happy Mother’s Day to all mothers and mothers-to-be! – LHL

Thank you for the amazing feedback for I am a Teacher. This is the first time writing and directing a short film based on a character who we created from a “Types of People” video and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole process. We are extremely blessed to receive such tremendous support and positive reviews from you guys. It’s really really heartwarming to read the comments and suddenly, I realize every sleepless night and each second stressing about the small tiny details was worth it after all. It is extremely fulfilling. I’ve never received 18k comments within a few hours of uploading and I must say, I’ve read all of them 🤯 It was a lot of refreshing and I see a lot of comments about crying and tissues but I’m genuinely glad that you guys enjoyed the film. At first I was worried it wasn’t emotional enough but next time I’ll do the tissue warning. 😂
This one’s dedicated to all teachers, mothers and everyone who understand how it feels to hold on and never give up on your dreams. There’s a Madam Soot Beng in all of us.
Over the next week, we will be releasing some behind-the-scenes footage, Q&As, special deleted scenes and music + ost.
As for more future short films, it’s definitely something we will move towards with @titanstudiossg. Of course, we will still release our weekly regular episodes but at the same time, we also have a few interesting projects of different formats and genres in the works that we will soon announce. Overall, it’s a very exciting time and I really thank you for the support from the bottom of my heart. This wouldn’t be possible with you - my team, friends, family, fans. Thank you ❤️

Three months into MCO. And endless amount of crazy shit happening around the world. Taking them in, trying to hold on to a steady breathe and coping. Keep sane...ANYWAY, Miss Cakap Banyak Diary today at episode no. 36, remesnising happy memories of my dance classes from years ago. Here is a kaleidescope of some classes from a big pile of videos.
Found a huge library of videos in my archive of dance classes dated 10 years back. I started attending regular dance classes with the amazing Ann Tan since 2008 or 2009. I have videos from those classes from year 2010. I've had other dance teachers too but the weekly jazz, jazz-contemp (if there is a name to it) classes I took with Ann Tan Li Lian was the most regular and consistent, until she moved away from Malaysia. From 2015 onwards, my other most consistent weekly classes have been adult ballet with The Royal Durian Academy with cikgu Nell Ng.
Watching the dance class videos made me smile, and laugh. Laughing at my awkwardness, albeit some moments of them I thought I don't look half bad.
The one thing that nobody can take away from me (or from you) is the joy of moving and dancing. I will always love to move and dance.
Many friends and teachers are in this video - I thank you for being part of my happy memory ? --
