This may not be the best time to be a landlord. With the COVID still raging, many have lost their jobs and can’t pay rent. If you buy a mid-range house to rent, you may lose your shirt. If you’re a Christian, be prepared to be merciful and give out free rent if your tenants lose their jobs. It’s both difficult and inhumane to evict tenants who have lost their jobs. Certain cities have very strict laws against oppressing tenants. You’ve been warned.

(by what they told us this is already the biggest house they known compare to all their connection...and this bring them one another problem: none of the young people really willing to continuing their life here in HK, since no one could really afford to manage to get 'emself a place during their limited life so most of them have been moving to England, Canada and Taiwan for the better life quality. )
Some more information:
１．A rent for 3 to 3.5 square meter room with share kitchen and bathroom is about 5000HKD(about 600EUD or 650USD) is the price for pay to live in the city with her classmate.

２．We have been paid 420HKD for the hostel bed per day which is about 50EUD or 55USD.
