一年將盡，今年香港舊巴士保育有不少新動態，可惜受疫情影響，部分活動需延期舉行。
隨着前中巴柴灣車廠拆卸重建，中巴出售於該處停泊多年的Tilling Stevens Express K series (白水箱)巴士予Island Vintage Bus 繼續保留。Island Vintage Bus 接手後為巴士進行了不少翻新及保養工程，並與Guy Arab V (水翼船)單層巴士一同出席一月份於中環舉行的Motoring Club Festival 。
此外，Island Vintage Bus 亦於英國購入前中巴的首部雙層Dennis Condor 11米空調巴士（DA1)，該部巴士亦於一月運抵香港，現正由團隊進行復修工程。由於受疫情影響，今年內未能安排任何公開活動。
另一邊廂，持有特別車輛（Special Purpose Vehicle)牌照，由Jumbo Bus Hong Kong 擁有的前中巴Leyland Fleetline 巴士(SF15) 本年亦活躍於不同巴士愛好者及區議員主辦的社區活動。
八月份，前中巴的Leyland Fleetline 巴士 （SF3)及 Dennis Jubilant 巴士 （DS1) 被運送往新巴柴灣車廠，相信該兩部巴士將會由新巴接手復修及保留。
香港以外，英國方面亦有關於香港巴士保育的好消息。收藏了多部前城巴巴士的Mr Dave Rogers 再度擴充他的收藏品，採用Plaxton車身的前城巴Volvo Olympian 12米巴士（車隊編號606）於十月離開香港返回英國作私人保留。

不論於香港或英國，保留一部舊巴士需要不少時間、心思同金錢。係希望有更多舊巴士獲得保留之時，各位如果能夠提供實質支持，才會有更多香港舊巴士以最佳面目示人。
註：香港私人保留的舊巴士當然遠比文中提及的多，不過本文集中介紹巴士公司保留及由媒體報導的香港舊巴士。
